I love this camera. It takes great pictures with little effort. I have yet to read the novel of a manual, but have figured out a lot of the features by trial and error. I want to learn how to work everything, but there's so much stuff it's a little overwhelming. I would recommend this camera to a second (or more) digital camera owner. The extra experience is greatly needed, this is not a first timer camera. I love that it has sound can zoom a block away like I was right there. It has a hotshoe for a professional flash. And of course the fact I can make movies, and if you have a dvd burner then you can make dvd movies. What a great little camera for someone who wants that professional look, at home.
