I bought this camera right before going on a 2 week trip to the NorthWest, Canada and Alaska. The pictures taken with it were magnificent. You just flipped thru the quick guide and you knew how to work the basic camera with no problem. I brought the instruction booklet with me in case of problems, but never had to refer to it  I took panoramic pictures I took pictures of whales diving, seals on ice flows, moose in the woods and the pictures came out great. Now that I'm home and I've had time to read more about what this camera does, it's unbelieveable for the price. I can't wait until New Year's...

I receivee the Kodak Digital Camera Z712is for mother's day and birthday present about 2 years ago.  I had previously owned a kodak easy share camera and knew I loved the ease of the camera and editing software and sharing abilities.  The other camera still works but only had 3 mega pixals and 3x optical zoom.  The other camera was also little so I would put it in my pocket and it would fall out when I would run around with my boys.  So when I went the store I immediately knew I wanted this camera.  With more than double the mega pixals and 12x zoom  it makes catching wonderful pictures...

I recently purchased my Kodak z712 and love it.  It has a great feature of allowing the camera to choose the correct/best setting for pic taking.  : ) Takes awesome pics, love the zoom. 

Only downside is it is quite big and bulky. 

I love this camera, it goes everywhere with me and has helped me capture many memories. This phone is very reliable, batteries run down quickly so purchase something other than kodak batteries.
