Another great Kodak camera

5

I especially enjoy using this camera as it is very user friendly and everything works just as it should. I would recommend this camera for anyone that wants a basic easy to use camera. Image Quality I get good results even with enlargements. Performance The camera is everything it claim to be and works as it should. Ease of Use I just picked up this camera and started taking pictures; I find it very user friendly and easily learned extra features with hands on experience. Durability I carry mine in a soft case for added protection. By handling it with respect you should experience no problems. Battery Life The battery life is great. Portability This camera is very compact and lightweight so by using a lanyard to wear mine around my neck I keep it extra handy; it takes up very little space and fits conveniently in a purse as well. I also have a case just for the camera that clips on my belt or has a wrist strap; very convenient and versatile.

Great pictures, but terrible quality.

The Kodak Easyshare M381 was one of the cheapest cameras that I could find at the time with it's specifications.  It takes excellent photos and videos, but I had so many issues with the camera that it makes it not worth the money.  I was impressed at the excellent sound that came from the video option on the camera, and by the speaker built into the camera.  The zoom option also came out very clear compared to alot of other cameras I have used.  The camera was very easy to use, but the proprietary parts was a big minus.  I had lost the adapter that goes between the camera and the cable, and the part alone cost way to much for an adapter piece.  I ended up buying a docking station to transfer pictures because it was cheaper than the piece.  I also had major issues with the phone itself.  First it started out that the zoom feature didn't work.  Shortly after it stopped working all together.  When you try to turn it on, the camera acts like it is turning on, but it shuts right back off.  Found it was a shutter chip malfunction, and that the part costs almost as much as I paid for the camera.  All this happened right after the warranty was up, meaning we were left without a camera.  Also of note, even shortly after I bought it, some photos would show up corrupt.  Tried swapping sd cards thinking that was the issue, but it still happened.  Worst camera I ever had.  Will never buy another Kodak again because of this.

Awesome Kodak 12 mega pixel camera I got for a really great price.I purchased it at the after thanksgiving sale and got it for 70 bucks it is hard to believe I got it so cheap but I figured it was a kodak and they have been around forever so I jumped on it .I love the large screen on it as my eyes are not what they use to be since I am getting a little older and I can actually see the picture on it without having to put on my glasses. The camera has the video option on it and several different setting that are available at the flip of a switch and you don't have to go through all the menu's on it to get to the options you would use most frequently. The only thing I have found that I don't really like is that the battery door on it seems a little cheap other than that it seems to be jam up and it is a really pretty color blue. The batteries that came with it holds a charge much longer than my old hp camera and it also came with the charger and  a carrying case it is small enough you can stick it in your pocket with ease.It is a really pretty color blue. The pictures seem to be good quality although I have not had any hard copies made yet they look good on my computer.I highly recommend this if you are looking for a camera that is good for vacations and special memories. The only reason I didn't give five stars is the battery door seems a little cheap.

Bought as gift for photographer daugher and she loves it.

I Bought this camera as a gift for my daughter who is a professional photographer. She keeps it in her purse to use while her large camera equipment is at home. She has had it for 2 years and it is still keeping her happy. Great to give as a gift. The pictures that come from this camera are hard to distinguish from her professional camera. She has literally taken thousands of pictures from this camera and it is still holding up to her demands. She wants to update her camera in the near future, this camera offers everything she wants in a camera, and she can't see replacing a camera that takes pictures of this quality. For the price, this is a wonderful investment for anyone who is interested in photography. This camera is not an entry level camera, but a camera that is easy to use for anyone from beginner to semi-professionals. I, as well as her, would recommend buying this camera to anyone. We have had great luck with Kodak cameras and they offer lots of interchangable accessories to go with it.

Kodak Digital Camera Lives up to its name

I got one of these cameras about two years ago as a Christmas present, I took over 200 pictures the first day I had it. It was really easy to use and downloading the pictures to the computer was fast simple and had me taking more pictures in under 2 minutes. The camera has a large display screen and many photo options. You can zoom in super close and still take a great picture. The pictures do not blur or turn out dark. The automatic flash is great.  The different photo options allows you to take pictures under any condition, however you must chose the right option to get a good picture but with a little practice it is no problem to chose the best photo option and get a perfect shoot every time. The camera was build for any thing, mine has been dropped, stepped one, and has went completely under water and still works just as good as it did when I first took it out of the box. This brand of camera will be the same brand I buy my brother for his birthday.

I was excited to try the Kodak M381 camera, but overall it is just an average digital camera.  It takes wonderful pictures outdoors, for the most part, as long as your lighting is good.  The Smart Capture feature, which is supposed to detect the best settings for your environment, doesn't seem to like indoors.  Most of my indoor pictures come out grainy or blurry, unless I choose the setting myself, which isn't always convenient.  I have two small children and I don't have time to click through different settings to find the best one.  The quality of the audio and video I was very impressed with, however.  The sound is great and the video is really clear. The camera seems to be pretty durable, too.  I have had it for about a year and it has been dropped and handled by my children multiple times, and it still works just as well as the day I got it.  Overall, this camera is good for snapshots, but if you're looking for something other than that, I would try a different camera.

After goint through other budget models from other manufacturers, I decided to spend a little more to get this outstanding camera.  The main problem I had with all the other cameras that I had bought was the screen images were so choppy when I moved the camera around, it was hard to close in on anyone because it was so delayed.  So when I got this camera, I was very satisfied, it is still a little bit choppy at times, but much better than anything else that I used.  I got this camera a couple of years ago, and although it was a bit expensive then, the price for the same one now makes this camera an exceptional deal.  the other thing I like is the included software, which makes photo editing very easy, and best of all it was free.  Overall, I feel that purchasing this camera was a no brainer, and for anyone out there debating it. my suggestion is that yout wont be dissappointed at all, it is well worth it.

Good price for alot of Camera, Kodak EasyShare M381 .

I bought this camera just a few days ago and love it. It has alot of features, the panorama is one of my favorites. Very easy to install the software and to put the pics on the computer was very simple also. This camera has more optical zoom than most i have looked at, 5X optical Zoom, most have 3X. The slim and sleek design of it is very nice, I bought the blue grey color its a color that a man or a woman would feel comfortable in having. It also came with a  Li-lon rechargeable battery, alot better then replacing double AA batteries. The only extra a had to buy for the camera was an SD Card only because I wanted to store more pics on the camera.  Very simple to use, I would highly recommend this camera, because of the quality and the price.

Kodak Digital Camera was a good camera in it's day!

My Kodak Digital Camera was one of the very first digital cameras on the market.  It is quite large by today's standards, but it works very well.  I used this camera for everything and found it to be very trustworthy.  I had to purchase the expansion chips so it could take more photos, since the original capacity was somewhat limited.  The camer itself is fairly attractive - coming in a flat balck color with silver trimmings.  The led display is large enough to see your images and make adjustments as needed.  It has a dial for the various settings and features that is also very easy to use.  It can take chort videos as well.  It has a few other features - like red-eye reduction anad some special effects too.  I had to load a program on computer to download the phot's.  This took a lot of time and the actual downloading of photo's was also cumbersome and took a lot of time.  I had to cable it to the computer, which was not always convenient.

Kodac Camera

3

A few years ago I had a Kodac Easy Share Camera, then one day it stopped working for no reason.   When I went in to buy a new camera I ended up going with Cannon.  I love my Cannon, and it still works (thankfully), but it's bulky.  For Christmas my husband bought me a new camera.  He got me a new Kodac Easy Share.  I loved that it is so small that I could put it in my pocket when I was somewhere that I might want to take pictures, it fits in my purse without taking up a lot of room.  Sometimes I would have problems with the picture being to blurry or dark and I would have to change the type of picture that I was taking.  I didn't like that the auto button rarely gave me good pictures.  I usually had to find a different setting.  So up until a couple weeks ago this was a decent camera.  Not my favorite by far, but for the price it seemed to do the trick.  Then it just stopped working.  Glad I still have my other camera.
