I was looking for a small, easy to use video camera for videos of grandchildren and great grandchildren. The sales lady showed this camera to me and explained the advantage of also having a still shot camera so I made the purchase. I used the camera so often that  I had to replace the battery three times within the first two months and chose to purchase a rechargable battery system. I have made many family videos, including my grandson's wedding and reception, and transfer them and pictures to my computer often so that I always have an empty card and ready to use again. I rarely go anywhere without it.
