This has been the best digital camera I've purchased. It is easy to use, nicely designed and pretty quick. The 10x zoom is definitely a plus, and is good enough for home use. Definitely not the camera you are looking for if you want something for taking action shots. We use lithium batteries and it seems to get pretty good battery life (ie. We are not changing them all the time). One downside to this design is that it is not very compact, and it is not a camera that will easily slip into a pocket. It offers decent quality with the 7.1 MP and 10x zoom at a reasonable price. I've had mine for several years, and it is still going strong. As with our last Kodak digital cameras, I would guess that this camera will be replaced due to better technology before it breaks. This is the third Kodak digital camera that we've owned, and most likely we will look for another Kodak when it is time to replace this one. Portability it is a bit larger but can fit into my very small purse!

I have had my Kodak EasyShare ZD710 for about a year and a half and I love it. It takes really great pictures and videos and has many features like the image stabilizer, which I really need. I have taken pictures from stills to videos and each one comes out great, at least the ones I don't mess up. The automatic position allows the camera to automatically adjust to the type of situation of what you are taking pictures of. One of the best features, especially for those who forget to take off the lens cap, is the way that when the camera is turned on, the lens cap is popped off. So no more taking pictures with the lens cap left on. The only drawbacks that I have seen is that it takes a little longer for you to be able to take pictures one right after the other and it takes a little time for the automatic focus to adjust. Other than that, I love the camera and I would buy another one. If you are looking for a new camera I would recommend checking it out. Image Quality The images are sharp and the color is great. Ease of Use I haven't had any problems using the camera. Durability It is going on 3 years and is still in great working order. Battery Life I use rechargeable batteries so that helps. Portability Very portable and I have a camera case with it.

I have had this camera for about 4 years,  I bought it to capture all the memories of my children.  I have found that this camera has brought many fond memories to life.  It is very simple to use, and if you include the SD memory card in the camera you can store many pictures at once.  I have found a few things that have made the camera a little akward to use and effects the use and quality of the camera.  The settings on the camera can slow down the process of taking the picture you want fast enough.  The quality of the picture taken on the led screen does not do justice to the printed picture.  I would love to upgrade the camera but have not found any upgrade methods, thus far.  The lens cap is easily broken and not easy to find the replacement with out going online and paying shipping.  A lot of the pictures that are taken come out fuzzy due to stability issues, you have to be super still on some settings to get a clear picture.  All in all, I do like this camera.

I love this camera.  I've had it for about two years now and it still takes great pictures.  There's only one thing I don't like and that is you can't take quick shots without the picture getting blurry; but I think it's that way with most cameras...I don't know that much about other cameras; but this is a great one

I have had my Kodak ZD710 for 3 years now I got it at an excellent price for the value at the time and it has served me well. I take some professional pics with it including: Weddings, engagement, new baby and even my own childrens school photos. I plan to upgrade to a digital LSR but I will not get rid of this camera it will be my secondary.

***KODAK EASYSHARE ZD710 DIGITAL CAMERA*** ***I honestly don't have anything negative to report about this camera. We received it as a gift in Dec 2007. It was given to us so my husband would have a camera while he was deployed to Iraq in 2008. The camera was a blessing while he was deployed because the ease of getting the pictures onto the computer made it possible for him send more pictures, and send them very frequently. We have three small children and feeling connected through pictures was a comfort to them and all of us. *** ***The camera is a good size, not so small it gets dropped, and not so big that it becomes a chore to take along to places that you want to take pictures. The camera is extremely durable. It survived a year in the desert, traveling to and from in military accomodations, and for the past two years it has survived my three kids! *** ***It is definately a camera I am proud to use and show off. I have recomended KODAK EASYSHARE DIGITAL CAMERAS several times over the past couple of years. I was surprised by the number of people who now own the cameras because we are constantly bragging on it, or they saw our camera and liked it. *** ***On the Shape, material, weight, available functions, the size and quality of the LED SCREEN, ease of the applications and functions, and most importantly our pictures are beautiful whether we post them on the computer or print them at home or the store.*** ***Thank you for allowing me to share my opinions with you!***
