great camera for average consumer

Kodak - EasyShare Z740 Digital Camera —
When I originally bought this camera, the price was still around $300 new. It has many great features like a card slot for memory expansion and too many automatic settings to list. It does lack image stabilization and, when using the extreme zoom, causes the pictures to pixelate (get blocky) when you decrease the picture size. I have found, too, that even when I pre-focus an image, the shutter lag is still too long to actually get the shot I want. For everyday photos, this camera is good. If you want to try doing any creative or action shots, I'd recommend skipping this one.
