Kodak - EasyShare Z700 Digital Camera Review

I DIDN'T buy the docking statioin/charging station with my Kodak EasyShare z700 - and maybe that's where I went wrong.

This thing has been giving me trouble since I bought it. I have tried every kind of new batteries there are and my camera still only lasts for a couple of pictures.

I have adjusted the settings for minimal bit and for No Display without results.

It has a 3 year warranty, but after a year - I was unhappy. I kept hoping that a new pair of better batteries would operate it better. I would have returned the item, had I not moved far far away from the retailer.

 I do like the Kodak software, though. And - I like the size, shape and look of the camera. It doesn't do too bad at taking pictures - when it will work. Often it will just shut off without warning.

I figured a Kodak camera would have accessories available - like the charging/docking station sold separately - but I can't seem to find any information on a reasonably priced purchase.

This camera was $235 and I have gotten very little use out of it.

Don't buy this camera without the charger.
