This was the second digital point and shoot I have ever bought. Overall it's decent if you don't take a ton of pics. I find it's hard to get it to focus, it's automatic so not like you can adjust that on your own. The pictures tend to come out more blurry on this camera unless the person doesn't move at all, and I mean not even to breath! Image Quality Images come out okay but it's hard to get it to focus on an image, I usually get pictures that are slightly blurry and out of focus. Performance Performance is decent. This is more a camera if you want something compact and affordable. Ease of Use Super easy to use, not many buttons and functions. You won't even need the manual to figure this camera out. Durability It is very durable, my kids have dropped it numerous times and it's fine. Battery Life I do have to charge this camera a lot and I don't even use it that much. This is my back up camera to my nice one so even just sitting unused the battery dies quickly. Portability It's very small, can easily fit in your purse or even a larger pocket.

I love my pocket camera. It takes quality pictures and I can share them on screen. The set up menu is simple to program this camera for anything that you wantd. It also takes video in a very good format. Will upload to any computer or laptop or tablet. All formats for photos and can be acheived with this camera.

I received my Kodak EasyShare V1003 as a Christmas gift from my mother-in-law. Upon first using it, I liked it much better than the Sony camera that I had been using. Overall, this camera is a good value for the price that it sells for. This camera has a lot of features, some of which I still don't know how to use. I love that it has a large viewing screen that allows you to really see the quality of the picture you have taken when you aren't anywhere near a computer to download. It is also really easy to download the pictures via the USB cable that comes with the camera. The camera is pretty tough; I have dropped it several times on concrete and it hasn't affected the quality of it at all. Probably my favorite feature of EasyShare is that you can set the self-timer to take two consecutive shots so when you are trying to do your own family picture, you have two chances to get it right before having to run back to the camera. I've also really been pleased with the black and white photo feature and the quality of these photos. Really I only have two issues with this camera. First, I've missed out on good shots because it takes a while from the time you press the button until the time that the camera actually takes the picture.  Second, I've had problems with blurry pictures sometimes, especially when using the zoom feature. This is a great camera for taking up close shots but I wouldn't really recommend it on far away shots using the zoom feature. Overall though, I think it is a good camera.

I wanted to like this camera, I really did because they are a local company in my area. But the overall picture quality and features just are not satisfactory compared to other cameras in this price point. Kodak was late to the digital camera age, and this camera shows. In sunlight cinditions, picture and color quality are good. But with low light conditions, it's grainy and quality is unacceptable. I did try several of the picture and low light modes even with the same shot, and there is just no hope. Other annoying problems are the time it takes to focus between is very long, causing you to miss that perfect shot. Forget about using this camera for any kind of close-ups or macro mode, it just won't focus. Thumbs down for me!

This camera was a replacement for an older one I had. I was thrilled when I received it. The picture quality is incredible due to all the enhanced features. So easy to use, a child could figure it out. The Price?  I expected to pay a few hundred more and was very surprised at the low price. All in all, its a great camera and I couldn't be more happy.

Great camera!  So easy to use and customer friendly.  Kodak is a great company, as well, my screen got cracked and they replaced it for free, even though it wasn't technically covered by the warranty.  I would recommend this camera to anyone, from someone who has never had a digital camera to the most experienced person.  Being able to digitally inhance the photos right on the camera is great and cropping as well.

was told by the guy at the sales counter that this camera would fit needs of the rescue to take good quality pics of our adoptable pets for our website.  While we talked about the trouble w/ getting pics of the animals in motion; he assured me this camera would auto focus and catch motion shots.  Not a great photograhper so need to take many, many shots trying to find the right one to show off our pets.  With this camera, by the time the shutter goes off the dog/cat/horse/piggy... has moved -- now i get lots of blurry or butt shots.  just not what i had in mind.the easy share s/w is a nightmare in itself.  i use and want to continue to use MS digital image pro.  The kodak camera was not recognizable by anything except easy share which automatically moved ALL of my pics to their albums.  When i deinstalled the s/w in attempts to get the computer to recognize the camera at least through easy share -- ALL of 2 YEARS of photos were lost.  YEARS of taking thousands of photos to keep the hundreds i had only to lose EVERY one.  had emailed tech support 3 times for advice but only received one email saying they would be back to me in 24 hours -- has now been weeks.  would not recommend kodak prodcuts that use easy share and certainly not this camera.

I haven't spent my life with a camara in my hand because it usually takes too long to figure out how to use it.  But this camara is simple to use, has a large view screen and takes beautiful pictures.  It does stills and video and at 10 megapixels, the photos are crisp and clear.

This was my first digital camera after using a cell phone for pictures.  There is a bit of a delay after pushing the button to take the picture.  The pictures come out clear and make great gifts.  I like the zoom and also adjustable MP, and self timer so I can be in the pictures also.  Not bad pictures even at nighttime.  I added a memory card so am able to store many more pics.  The battery holds a charge very well and recharges quickly.  Transferring pics to my computer is simple and quick, and also easy to edit as needed.  I would recommend this camera for someone who is not technically savvy.
