My daughter wanted to purchase a digital camera. We were at Sears, so we looked at the different cameras they had to offer. It was important to my daughter that the zoom function worked on extreme close ups and that she could take movies with the camera.

We bought the Kodak Easy Share M863 camera for my daughter for her 12th birthday. She was wanting a digital camera of her own, and we didn't want to pay too much. This camera is very nice looking... our daughter got the burnt rust color which is really pretty! The camera comes with its own USB cord which easily uploads the pictures to your computer. It also plugs the camera into the outlet to charge the battery. It is very user-friendly. This camera has a big screen- 2.7". One thing it doesn't have, is a viewfinder! I just got this camera (kodak m863) for my birthday. I have been really impressed with how easy it is to use. The camera stays charged for long periods of time and is easy to recharge when needed. It takes great shots indoors and outside. It's small enough to be easily taken with me, but big enough to fit comfortably in my hand to take pictures. It has all the necessary features to take great pictures. The screen on the back is large and you can easily view your subjects. The review is nice also.

Bought this camera, The Kodak 863, when my husband broke my other camera. I'm not glad it happened but I am glad that I replaced it with this camera. Great pictures, easy to use and small. Take it everywhere I go!!! Would highly recommend this to anyone!!
