I received this camera as a Christmas gift years ago. It has worked perfectly for years. The pictures are decent quality, and the features are nice. It last for a while battery wise. Image Quality While they aren't professional or the highest quality of images, they do come out clear with vibrant detail. It works perfectly for recording special moments. Performance Performs great! It's super easy to change the settings for the situation, and doesn't take a long time to get it ready for the next shot. The flash and features works great. Ease of Use Super easy to use! You don't even really need to read the user manual to figure it out. I can keep it in the closet for a few months and then pull it out and easily fall right back into using it and its features. Durability Not exactly the most durable camera out there. I've dropped it a few times and now the battery door won't stay shut, some tape fixed that though. The thing is like ten years old so I'm forgiving when I go to turn it on and the lens part doesn't pop out, I just turn it off and back on and it comes to life. Battery Life Great battery life! I have no problem using it all day at an event. Portability The camera is small and compact and easily fits in my purse or back pocket for when I want to go places with it.

Kodak has once again done a fine job developing a higher than standard camera. This is a classic style camera that takes more than average pictures. 3x optical zoom with 10 mega pixels has been quite adequate for any uses i have had for it so far. From my children's games indoor or outside it has done a f fine quality job. The image stabilization is a key feature in that it does a great job keeping my pictures from being blurry at all. The smart capture feature is dynomite. It automatically adjusts to almost any setting that you may be in. You can also capture HD quality video. So awesome to get pictures and video with one small camera. Wonderful if you have children. You can use with a kodak easyshare hdtv dock! It comes with a quality Li-Ion rechargeable batter and charger. Has several scene modes to choose from so that you can get your picture to turn out just as you want. I feel like an actual professional when I use this camera. Great bargain for the money.

It's Kodak, so it's reasonable to figure your getting quality with this camera. I can tell you that build quality is rather solid. Feels smooth in the hand, not terribly heavy or overly light. The large display on the back does a fine job, quite a bit better than many cheaper cameras I've used. The auto-focus, auto lighting features for digital stills are very impressive! Those ads you see for this camera about how easy it is to setup a shot, especially moving or other problem shots, and get quality results without a lot of fuss. They're actually right. What they -won't- tell you, is that it can be slow to start up, and switch some modes. So, you will inevitably lose a few good pictures due to timing, but then most digital cameras have some speed issues of one or another. What I did not like, however, is not a small point either. The camera can record 720p video, but let me just say that even my Htc Evo, which was known for not shooting very good quality HD video, produces better than this camera. It's -quite- grainy, washed out, and generally feels like it's much lower res. than 720. Also, it uses a very proprietary cable for charging, and at the wall. So -hang onto those cables-! If you lose anything, be prepared to pay quite a bit to get your charging ability back! Also, sadly this camera -cannot- operate at the same time it's being charged, so marathon photo-shoots or video recording aren't possible without extra batteries. Still, even with those faults, especially when you just want photos, this camera -delivers- quite stunning results! Just keep it all together somewhere safe if you intend to store it!

After going through other budget models from other manufacturers, I decided to spend a little more to get this outstanding camera. The main problem I had with all the other cameras that I had bought was the screen images were so choppy when I moved the camera around, it was hard to close in on anyone because it was so delayed. So when I got this camera, I was very satisfied, it is still a little bit choppy at times, but much better than anything else that I used. I got this camera a couple of years ago, and although it was a bit expensive then, the price for the same one now makes this camera an exceptional deal. the other thing I like is the included software, which makes photo editing very easy, and best of all it was free. Overall, I feel that purchasing this camera was a no brainer, and for anyone out there debating it. my suggestion is that yout wont be dissappointed at all, it is well worth it.  I am forever a kodak lover.

To say that Kodak has gone downhill since its halcyon days is a very very big understatement. Kodak digital cameras, particularly this one, are terrible for keepsake photographs. The only thing Kodak is good for today is photography equipment - such as projectors and paper. It should likely stay out of the camera business or bring itself back up to par with the leaders. The problems with this camera are that the picture tend to come out tinted and a bit grainy, when compared to other cameras I have owned by industry leaders Sony, Canon, and Nikon. I would say the big benefit is price. This camera's price point is accessible to a much wider audience and that makes it a decent buy. Overall, I would consider my pictures' longevity over the price point and would and do highly recommend to anyone I know to purchase a better camera at a higher price rather than this camera at a lower price for those reasons.

When I went shopping for a camera I really wanted a high power camera that took semi-professional pics.  However, my father persuaded me otherwise and I ended up with this camera instead.  His logic was that it would be easier for me to use to take pictures of my friends and more portable when I take it to snap shots of my horses.  I will not deny that it had been great for snapping quick pictures at dances, but for pretty much any other time I've wanted to take a picture I would have been much happier with the SLR camera I wanted.  It is by no means a replacement for a camera like that. However to give credit where credit is due I have to really thank Kodak for amazing customer service.  Even though my camera was in a semi-solid case, my camera screen cracked from being in my purse.  I was extremely upset about it seeing as I expect more durability out of a small camera that's meant to be carried around but when I sent it in to Kodak they repaired my camera for free no questions asked even without a waranty.  Now that is what I call customer service.

I absolutly love this camera, its black and very sleek and stylish looking. Its also very compact, and has so many different options. It has smart capture, that takes great pictures and almost any situation. You get pictures and video in High Definition, for a clean crisp photo or video. There are so many options for the type of picture you want to take, lets say your at the beach, there is an option to take beach pictures. Your in the snow taking pictures, there is an option for that also. There is an option for children, to catch them in action, without the streak or blur effect. The zoom is outstanding, I got some pictures of some of the birds we feed and I am going to developed and frame they turned out so good. The lcd screen is awsome, no more squinting to see the pics when you review, its like a mini flatscreen.It came with a charger for the battery, that also came with the camera. No more buying batteries, just have to keep this one charged. I love this camera!!  If it lasts as long as my first Kodak, which lasted about 4 years, I will be so happy.

I've had this camera over a year now, and been happy with the picture quality, and the results in lower light situations. The battery holds a charge for a very long time, taking hundreds if not thousands of pictures on a charge.  Great for traveling, when you don't have time to charge in often.   Downloads are very easy.  Fits great in your pocket (carry mine in my jeans pocket), and is about the size of most cell phones, just a bit thicker.  Nice that you can always have it with you.  Mine has been dropped a few times, but have had no  problems.  Quick and easy review of pictures taken, and easy to erase those you don't want. The down side:  Does not recycle fast enough between pictures, so you can miss some shots if you are shooting a fast moving situation.  Also, the red eye reduction feature creates a delay between you pressing the shutter and the camera taking a picture.  Often you have to shoot ahead of the moment you plan on capturing, inorder not to miss the shot.
