Kodak - EasyShare Camera Dock Series 3 Dock / Cradle Review

The Kodak EasyShare Camera Dock Series 3 Dock / Cradle is an excellent accessory for my Kodak EasyShare digital camera. Although it is optional, it is well worth the extra money if you have an EasyShare camera.

The dock plugs into an outlet and into a USB port on your computer. The camera can be charged by sitting on the dock and photos can be easy uploaded to your computer with just a touch of a button.

I like that I can both charge and upload all from one easy dock rather than fumbling with cords and wires every time I want to do either.

Some cameras require a plastic overlay that helps the camera to fit snugly. Those cameras will generally come with that overlay or you can buy a dock that comes with one. Only certain EasyShare cameras need this. Once you set the plastic overlay on the dock, your camera will sit securely on the dock.

I use mine to keep track of my camera and to be sure it is always charged when I need it. The battery doesn't overcharge no matter how long I leave it on the dock. It sits neatly on my computer desk and, whenever I want to upload my pictures, I push a button and they automatically begin uploading.

This dock is such an breeze to use, anyone from the beginner on up can use it with no learning curve.

Conclusion

If you have a Kodak EasyShare digital camera, it's worth the $80.00 or so for the dock in convenience. I can't live without mine!

There are also docks that print photos as well for a steeper price. For me, this one does everything I need and is small enough to sit on my desk with the camera just waiting to be taken out and used. A great addition to my camera accessories, I give this dock 4 stars.
