Ok Camera

4

I actually won this camera at a Christmas party being held by my husband's place of employment. I have never really been a fan of the Easy Share cameras after having a bad experience with one years ago. But it was free... so. It's not a bad camera, but it definitely isn't the greatest. Imagine quality is ok, but I think action/indoor - low light quality could be improved. It's pretty easy to use, so if you just want a simple point and shoot and nothing fancy, then this is a good camera for that. It is pretty durable as it has been banged around quite a bit. But I am not thrilled with the battery life. I think it eats through battery usage way too quick. It takes decent video, and the sounds is decent, not too muffled or grainy. Uploading pictures is pretty quick and easy and the software that comes with the camera is simple to install and use. Overall it is just an ok camera. I prefer canons to kodak though. Comparable price but more features and better quality.

This product takes good pictures, but shutter speed is too slow.

This product was purchased for me as a Christmas gift from my parents. I have two small children and I love to take pictures, so this camera gets a lot of where-and-tear. I must admit I have overall been extremely disappointed in this product from Kodak. We have purchase several products from Kodak and had never been disappointed in what we received. However, after time with this particular product, we will probably not be purchasing Kodak again in the near future. The shutter speed is extremely slow and causes you to miss a lot of moments you should be able to catch on film. For the most part, I have had some great pictures from this camera. The problem is getting it to take the picture in the first place. As a loyal Kodak fan and user of their software and everything, I am not a happy camper. If I were able to afford another camera right now in our budget, I would. Most of life's moments you try to capture, you get one chance....with this camera, you might miss it. Performance Half the time this camera is still trying to focus and everyone has already moved on. Battery Life If you use the expensiv lithium batteries, they last a whole lot longer in this camera.

Kodak Easy chare C180 Diital Camera AWESOME!!!

I received the Kodak Easy Chare C180 Digital Camera as a gift and I love it.  It takes the most beautiful pictures.  The color and clarity of the pictures are incredible.  I have family members who have Minolta & Cannon cmeras and the pictures that come out of my Kodak camera are just as good as theirs if not better.  This camera is definitely worth the money!  It is an exceptional value.  I am so pleased with this camera.  I no longer use any of my other cameras.  i also choose to use this Kodak camera.  My seven year old daughter takes pictures with it and they always turn out great!  I have rpinted the pictures at home with my own printer and I have sent them to be printed elsewhere.  No matter where the pictures are printed they turn out great.  The color is exceptional.  I would recommend this camera to anyone.  It is perfect for an amateur or someone who has been taking pictures for a long time!

I love my Kodak Camera!!!

I purchased my Kodak Camera for myself as an upgrade from a very early Kodak Easy Share Camera. I found the Kodak EasyShare c180 at a Mass retail store on sale! I was so excited to find out that I had purchased the last one. The Camera came with software that is easy to navigate. Kodak has made this EasyShare C180 very user friendly and was very affordable. It does take AA type batteries, but is so user friendly and the batteries are easily enough changed out. The compact design makes for a great take along tool to capture family moments, and the settings make the camera so user friendly that you can find an exact setting to take the best pictures. Kodak has made this so no nonsense, that all you have to do is pretty much find a category for the type of picture you are taking and just point and shoot. Bottom line? Yes I do recommend. Do I use it? You bet I do! Almost daily.

Kodak EasyShare C180

The Kodak Camera is really good and has a lot to offer in so many ways. I have had this camera for a bit less than a year now and has gone through a few traumatic events, but still seems to be okay. It was drenched in water by a beluga whale during a trip, where it ceased to work for approximately an hour. Once all the parts of the camera were dried, it worked on and off for another few hours. However, by the next day, it seemed to be working perfectly. The other thing that was initially something leading to a doubt was that it uses double A batteries. The problem is that they must be replaced more often that regular digital camera batteries. The other downside is that you have to carry them with you when travelling. The upside is that if the batteries do stop working, you can purchase them anywhere.

not a bad everyday camera

I have had my Kodak EasyShare C180 Digital Camera for about a year now.  I bought it as a replacement for my first Kodak EasyShare of a previous model number after it was smashed beneath an upturned picnic table.  My Kodak EasyShare C180 Digital Camera has gone everywhere with me.  I took it to Alaska to my sister's wedding and snapped pictures of the whole week's festivities, scenery shots of the amazing views, pictures outside the airplane, and everything else I thought would be fun.  I did run into the issue of filling my memory card during the trip but had no issue plugging my Kodak EasyShare C180 Digital Camera into my laptop and saving the pictures onto my hard drive.  Other than my trip to Alaska I have taken plenty of amateur photography shots both outdoors and in, pictures of my dog, and I have also taken photos of things I have made both culinary and artistically.  I don't go anyplace without my Kodak EasyShare C180 Digital Camera.  The picture quality is great and I have only ever had problems when I went to a concert.  I could not get a decent shot, but I was quite a ways back and the lighting was atrocious.  In every other situation my Kodak EasyShare C180 Digital Camera has performed in a most satisfactory way.

Kodak EasyShare C180 is Good for the price!

I received the Kodak EasyShare C180 digital camera as a gift last Christmas.  Initially, I loved the camera.  However, I had to take it back and get a new one because the one I received would not turn on after 2 days!  The store replaced it with no problem, and I have been using the new one quite frequently over the past 10 months.  The internal memory on the camera is EXTREMELY small, and only holds about 5 pictures!  So you will need to buy a remove-able memory card (with 2 kids, I've gone through quite a few!) The camera takes really good, precise pictures.  The zoom makes it great to take pictures that are farther away, and the picture still turns out great.  It is pretty easy to use.  We even got my Grandma (the queen of disposables, and polaroids!) one for her Birthday!  The Kodak EasyShare C180 does not respond well to rechargeable batteries though.  So you will go through A LOT of batteries!

The Kodak easy share c 180 was worth the price and very easy use

The Kodak easy share c 180 digital camera was very affordable and easy to use. I tried it for the first time on vacation in Florida and my pictures are so clear that they do not look real. This camera also shows videos on your computer with sound. This camera is so easy to use that my childdren know how to use it with no problem. This was a good first camera for me being that I never owned a digital camera before.

Okay camera for the price

I bought this camera in August 2009. I was in Nashville at the time, and had actually lost my digital camera so we made a quick run to K-Mart. This camera was on sale at the time so we decided to go with it. It has been a good camera, but I do have a few problems with it. Whenever I am inside a gym, church, or other indoor facility the pictures are never good. They are either really dark or they are blurry. I have tried using all the settings but have not found one that works really well. As a mom of 2, I would love to have a camera that would take wonderful pictures all the time. My second problem is that whenever the batteries start to go dead the camera will shut off, but the lens will not go back in. All other camera I have the lens always went back in as soon as the camera went off. The other thing I really do not like is the fact that it has a video camera but no speakers. I did not know this when I bought it or I would not have gotten it.  I don't know if I will ever buy another Kodak camera since this has been the second one of this brand that I have had problems with.

I love my kodak Easyshare C180

I am writing this review of my digital Kodak EasyShare C180. I bought my product on sale at Target. It was the last camera...the display model, so I got a great deal on it. I am very pleased with the camera. The pictures are clear and the extra functions are great. You can turn the flash on or off while using it. You can also edit pictures on the screen itself and save them. It comes with a cord you can hook up to your computer, I didn't have much luck with that because my computer is older and you have to have a computer with Windows Xp or newer. SO I usally just take my memory card to the store and print out my pictures. My kids have used the camera and with all the drops on the floor even getting wet in the rain, this camera has held up. Ihave been very happy with my purchase of this camera.  It takes 2 AA batteries.
