This feels so right in my hand!

4

I got my first Kodak EasyShare 4.5 years ago. But out grew it as the technology itself grew. I purchased 3 other cameras since them, one is a Mustek and 2 are Kodaks. This model is my favorite. I am sure that all of you hear about pixels this & pixels that....but when is all said and done, if the camera features are hard to work, then no mater how many pixels, the camera is just not going to be your friend. I love THIS camera's basic features. I had some gingers amputated and how a camera fits into my hand is a must. The rounded feel of this is great and gives me control in my right hand. The shutter button sits in just the right place and is the right size for me to "snap". The battery door is easy to open and shut. The viewscreen is not too small. Of my 4, this camera truly meets my needs for ease of access and utility. For a person with some hand disabilities, this "puppy" is a keeper. Of course, being that this is a Kodak, it takes a great picture, too. I have taken this on a couple of trips now and it preserved my memories they way they should be! Image Quality Though technology marches on, this is still right beside me at all times for when I see that "shot" I want to snap. Performance Still happy. Ease of Use Since I bought this, I had to have parts of 5 fingers amputated. this is still a brezze for me to use! Durability The spring gave out on the battery door. But, a piece of tape, LOL...you do what you need to do! Battery Life could be much better

The Kodak Easy Share camera is a pretty good basic camera

The kodak easy share digital camera is a good choice to have a basic digital camera to start out with. I like that you can easily share the pics online. It has lasted a good long time and the price was very affordable. It should probably be more durable for the rough photogropher. Overall it is a great digital camera that you will enjoy for a long time because it lasts.

I would not recommend this camera.

My children bought me this camera for Mother's Day last year because I desperately needed a new one. I feel bad but this is one of the worst cameras I've ever owned. With a name like Kodak you would think it was perfect but think again. First of all it takes horrible indoor photos, which was awful when I took it to my daughter's graduation. Outdoor photos are fine but who spends holidays and most of their lives outside. Another thing which is quite frustrating is that the batteries die too quickly. In fact the camera just shuts itself off at times and the only way you can get it back on, is if you remove the batteries and put them back in. It also has a "share" button which is supposed to enable you to get your photos on share sites instantly. It doesn't do it. My daughter, who can practically do anything with a computer cannot figure this share button out. Disappointing to her who wanted to share some of the photos instantly. The quality of the video on this camera is also a disappointing quality. Needless to say, I'm back using my old Samsung Digimax which is probably seven years old. The only thing I like about the Kodak is the green color.

kodak digital camera c142 average at best

3

I guess I purchased this camera because of the price. The Kodak c142 digital camera is priced under 100 bucks and it boasts a 10 mp quality and 3x zoom. It also uses AA batteries which is way more convenient than other digital cameras that require a special type of battery. Plus you can find rechargable AA batteries since digital cameras eat up battery, and this way you can save money. But the performance of this camera could only satisfy a beginner photographer. Say for example you wanted to take pictures in low light situations, like a concert, and well it does not give satisfying results. For that you would need a better camera. It is good for just goofing out with your friends, and taking portraits pics also. Good for close up pictures. But if you are serious about photography and could use in many situations a good camera, well this is not it. I would receommend only is say you are gifting this for a youngster that wants to play around with a camera, or if you want to give it as a gift to a beginner photoprapher to get the hang of a digital camera.

The Kodak Easyshare C142 is a very easy to use camera. It has swveral settings but can be used easily right out of the box. The display screen is large enough to view the everything being photographed with ease. I can also expand a picture to wallpaper size on my monitor and not get pixilation. It comes with a USB cable that allows you to connect to a computer to download pictures or you can easily remove the SD card and upload directly from it directly. It is very quick to focus and click without taking to much time. I highly recommend this camera to anyone who wants to take pictures in a hurry. The videos on this camera are also a very good quality. Batterly like is ok, it takes 2 AA batteries, I use rechargeables and can take more pictures.

Kodak - EasyShare C142 Digital Camera is An Awesome Camera!

Great camera for the average household family.  Point and shoot gives clear, colorful shots.  Menus are easy to follow and use.  For the price, I doubt this camera could be beat.  I have had an issue with difficulty turning the camera off and on at times, which can be frustrating, but overcome with patience.

I had been given this digital camera as a gift from a freind. It wasnt the model I would have bought if I had chosen it myself, but I was happy because it was a name brand and has a great reputation. The first real time I got to put it to work for a good load, was  trip to LA I had taken, and It worked very respectable. I did have some issues that I will go over now, but nothing that would ruin the trip. the drawbacks are it really eats batteries quickly! I advise keeping at least 4 extra on you at all times if you want photos, and buy one of those reachable deals were you have 2 charged at all times. The other drawback I had was the size of the view screen. Its only 1 1/2" big. Its just not big enough to see what you want. I love the new ones that have the 2"-3" viewfinder on the back. Those are great. But after those 2 complaints, I cant think of anything else bad!It will take photo's, videos, sound, plug into the TV, Laptop, Has the normal size media cards, not them small ones that need the adapters, and its nice because it does everything for you. If your not to photogenic, then just click it over to automatic. It will them do everything but push the photo button. Another cool thing, buy one of those screw in try pods that go in the bottom. Buy the ones that looks like its a bunch of small balls all out together. That try-pod  will click on to anything, thats why it has such a odd shape. You can hang the camera off the side of a car, a wall, a desk, and take a photo or video. Its a great little addition. But all in all, great little camera and you will be happy if you buy it!

Kodak EasyShare C142, you get what you pay for!

I gave this camera an average (3 out of 5 stars) because its nothing special. We only bought it because we needed a camera NOW and didn't want to spend a ton of money. It was one of the cheapest options available. After getting home we found out why it was so cheap. The pictures turn out grainy and fuzzy. It is easy to use and for the price we paid I guess its good enough. It is really easy to transfer the pictures from the camera to the computer. You can also upload the pictures right to facebook which is nice beikng able to skip a step. The camera comes in many different colors so it is a cute camera. It just takes normal AA battery's. It also fits the normal SD cards which are easy to find and cheap to buy. The zoom is just moving a little thing left and right. It has a flash option where you can turn the flash off, auto and red eye preflash. It has a built in video camera which I haven ever used but its an available option.
