Kodak Easy Share Gallery —
I really wanted personalized holiday cards this year. Unfortunately, once Kodak Gallery has screwed up an order, it appears to be virtually impossible for them to fix it. That would not be so bad if they would just admit it, but they keep promising new orders that never arrive. Each company representative gives a new spin on the problem.I have a large order of some else's cards sitting here. They are printed poorly--photos are blotchy with the eyes and hair shiny and the faces flat. When looking at them at an angle, the children are scary looking. I'd send this order back to Kodak but I would have to pay shipping myself. Other companies have delivery companies pick up incorrect orders.
I have ordered the cards twice now, never received them, and Kodak just offered to send out another order. When I finally demanded they just cancel the cards, the amount they were going to put back on my card were more than my entire order which included several other items. I tried and tried to explain but finally just gave up and agreed. I think someone else is getting the money back on their card rather than me. I have also sent emails, but I only get standard useless replies that tell me to look at their frequently asked questions.
In addition, the process of uploading cards is cumbersome. Shutterfly (which I have just started using for prints as an alternative) has a much nicer process that ensures you check the pics at the size ordered and also providing an opportunity to readjust if needed.
