Kodak 5100 All-in-one Inkjet Printer Review Summary

Printers are a necessity for any computer owner but the problem with many of them is the expense of replacing the ink. With the Kodak 5100 All in One Inkjet Printer, the problems with costly ink are mostly eliminated. Kodak 5100 All in One Inkjet Printer uses ink sparingly, and this is one of the many qualities that make this printer so compelling. Reviewers also appreciate the Kodak 5100 All in One Inkjet Printer for its ease of use and the fact that you can easily switch from color to black and white printing, to conserve ink even further. “Now You Can Afford to Actually USE Your Printer” says one satisfied customer, and others also feel that the Kodak 5100 All in One Inkjet Printer is a very good printer for the money. It takes up a little more space than Other Printers, but its positive qualities easily overshadow the negatives.

It used to be more ecconomical to buy a whole new printer than to replace your ink cartridges.  I have several in my office graveyard to attest to that.  Then there was the onset of the cartridge refills.  I tried to do that myself once but it didn't work.  Then I took one to a retailer to have filled and learned that you have to bring it in while it still has some ink in it--what a rip-off.  The solution?  The Kodak 5100 All-in-One printer?  The cartridges are the same prices as some retailers charge for refills.  Instead of paying $50 for one… read full review »

I happened upon the Kodak 5100 all in one while shopping for a new printer for my office.  I compared the price at quite a few places including Office Depot, Dell and a few others.  I was still in the decision process when I read how cheap the ink is.  I can buy 2 black cartridges and 2 color cartridges for less than what I would pay for one color cartridge with my other all in one printer.  I purchased it finally through Kodak.com which came at 50% off with the purchase of a Kodak camera which was 75% off.  It was definitely a real steal.  I received the… read full review »

We were looking for a printer recently and needed one immediately. We were just looking at some cheap printers you know like 30 bucks! Then you look at the ink and it costs 30+ just for the black ink. We saw the Kodak all in one and decided we needed to just put the money down for something more versatile. We saw the Kodak 5100 in the store for like 89.99 and it served all our purposes. You can print of course, and scan things and of course copy. The printing quality on the printer is excellent. I create things with Print-master like invitations and what not and they come out great. The… read full review »

We bought the Kodak 5100 with out reviewing it first.  After the purchase was made I did the research and was not happy with what I had found.  Most everyone HATED this printer because of the ink problems.  (Flashing Red Lights)  I swore to myself that this was not going to happen to me!  I got the printer set up, and sure enough, Flashing Red Lights.  I went online and downloaded the manual.  Sorry, no they do not send it to you in the box.  When you get the printer, the ink head is not installed.  You have to do this yourself.  Once I… read full review »

I have really enjoyed my scanner, it is a wonderful product.  I can copy and print as well as scan and email.   It scans very clearly.  I have used many different products in the past and I have never been as please as I am with my Kodak.  I highly recommend it.  It is fast and easy to use.  Affordable ink, less than $10 for black and $15 for color.  Has black and white settings.  Comparable purchase price.  It prints, scans and copies.  It also has a tray for 4x6 photo paper. … read full review »

I love mine. I am a college student as well as a mother of four. We are constantly printing. The lower cost of the ink was a real selling point for me. The printer is easy to set-up and use. It prints pictures on par with Wal-mart's photo center. I've not yet used the scanner. It is larger than most other printers I've owned. I have recommend this printer to friends and family, and will continue to do so. Overall, a great… read full review »
