This has a nice flavor and a nice texture. The rice has a bit of a bite to it, meaning it isn't mushy, but has a bit of firmness still (which is a good thing. Do not add any more water than it calls for, cook exactly as it states! I added a bit of fresh fresh garlic to mine and it was yummy. For a quick... review »

Bottom-Line: Fast, inexpensive and easy yes, but also very, very bland.

Recently I had occasion to prepare one of the newly united Knorr-Lipton Whole Grain Side dishes.  This particular flavor was Alfredo Pasta (Whole Grain Fettuccini in a Creamy Parmesan & Romano Cheese Sauce) made with water, milk...

Great tasting and inexpensive
a casual cook, too busy to make beds, au 'naturale'

I love, love, love Knorr food side dish products, especially any of the chicken & noodle type varieties. They are quick, easy to make, and inexpensive. They are also great to cook for only one or two people. Mom made these at home, and now I do!
