Watch the small parts if your child is on the younger end of the spectrum though. The other nice thing parents appreciate about this toy is the convenience and portability of the container. My two sons love to build and create with blocks and Lego's but there is only so much they can do with the standard block or Lego. I first saw K'nex Kid Knex Bucket of Buddies on a T.V. commercial and thought that it looked like a lot of fun. I decided to buy it for my six year old for his birthday this last January. He has had a riot with it since!

My kids love kid k'nex! They can play quietly, building with them. I have removed the very small pieces (white and blue rods) because of younger kids in the house, but have ordered (inexpensively) more of the bigger rods, as well as wheels from the k'nex website.

Not only are these imaginative toys, but they are SAFE and made in the US, so they aren't toxic. You can get new kids at places like Ross for $7!

I love this product I have a 4 and a 3 year old boys and they play with it for hours, they build the things from pictures and anything else they can think of. I had to buy other sets just so we can have enough pieces for their creations. This past year all my friends received one as a gift for their kids, that's how much I love my bucket of friends an all the other ones.

I just bought these for my three year old son. He Loved them! Honestly, we all loved them. Last nigth we took them with us to my SIL's house and me, hubby, my 3,5, and 1 year old, and BIL and SIL all played on the floor for almost 2 hours with these!
