Knex: Kid Knex Bucket of Buddies Review

My two sons love to build and create with blocks and Lego's but there is only so much they  can do with the standard block or Lego.  I first saw K'nex Kid Knex Bucket of Buddies on a T.V. commercial and thought that it looked like a lot of fun.  I decided to buy it for my six year old for his birthday this last January.  He has had a riot with it since!

My Experience

This bucket contains so many different colorful and easy to snap together pieces that the possibilities of what can be made are endless.  There are silly looking eyes and legs, as well as pieces that can be used for tails or hair.  It is truly a set that will bring the creativeness out in any child.  There is a great booklet that gives easy step by step instructions as to how to build 50 different characters.  The pieces are large enough that they don't pose a choking hazard and are easy enough to snap together to avoid frustration.  My son spends hours creating and I have made a few creatures for fun as well.  I love that the set comes with a storage tub that the pieces all actually fit back into. The handle is convenient because we can just pack it all up and carry it along with us when we take trips or for overnights. 

My Final Viewpoint

The K'nex Kid Knex Bucket of Buddies is well worth the $19.99 that I paid for it.  My child gets a ton of use out of it and all pieces are durable and easy to use.  The variety is endless.  I recommend this set and give it a 5 star rating.
