While this store has improved it's looks, the aisles are clearer and the shelves are pretty well stocked, it seems there is never quite enough help in the store.
I was there this morning, just before the lunch hour and they had one cashier. I suppose there were others working on the floor but I never did know if the one they called off the floor arrived at the checkout.
I was asked if I needed help and when I turned around they said, oh and went on. While I was once employed by that store that does not mean that I didn't need help. There was an assumption that because I was a former employee, I didn't need any help.
I was also in other departments and no one spoke to me. I realize that they work short handed most of the time but perhaps they could ask if help was needed particularly if the customer is kind of wandering about the department obviously looking for something.
I must add, though, that even with all the snow we have been having around here the parking lot was a lot better than I have seen it in years past. That is a big improvement for the winter time, especially.
Thank you for listening.
