We had a Kitchenaid dishwasher for 13 years so when it died, we went looking for a new one. We kept an open mind and looked at all kinds of dishwashers but the Kitchenaid KUDS35FXBL9 had all the things we were looking for. This dishwasher has many adjustments (the racks are adjustable), it has little things that fold down (if you want) to hold your items in place (this must be for plastic), it seems huge inside even compared to my old Kitchenaid. It holds way more dishes and the way the racks are designed really makes sense (but it can be changed if you don't like it). It is reasonably quiet but not the quietest dishwasher you can purchase. I don't really notice it though when it's running. The old one was much louder. This one also has the buttons on the top of the door instead of on the outside. I wish they had made the old one this way for when my Son was little. The handle is one of my favorite parts. The old dishwasher had the lift up handle. This one is a regular handle like you have on an oven door. The inside is stainless steel so it will last a long time. The best part is that it gets my dishes super clean and shiny. I love it!
