The Kitchen Aid 16 quart food processor has made life significantly better for me!  Tasks in the kitchen which were time consuming and laborious are now quickly and efficiently done: cheese grating, vegetable and fruit slicing for soups or pies, pastry making, parsley chopping in the added mini-bowl, pureeing, etc.  I was reluctant to get one but received it for a gift and have been surprised how much help it is and how often I use it.  Preparing family meals, especially for soups or pastry doughs, savory or sweet, is so much more quickly done. The motor seems very powerful and strong.

I have also been impressed with its sturdiness and the design and engineering of its parts.  Specifically, how simply, and solidly its parts fit together, plus how easy it is to clean.  There are no parts of the lid or bowl which cannot be easily reached with dish washing brush.  All the parts are dish washer safe and can be just as readily tossed into the dish washer.  The body of the machine is also attractive, comes in many colors and is easily cleaned as well.
