KitchenAid Pink 56-oz. Polycarbonate 5-Speed Blender

I got this blender when my first Kitchen-aid blenderCAUGHT ON FIRE!!! I called the company and the offered me a new blender and even let me pick the color, Pink !! they donate to the breast cancer fondation for every one the sell!! yeah!  This blnder is amazing the pitcher is one piece so no more cleaning an icky base or dodging the blades in the utensil rack of the dishwasher it is a lightweight sturdy polycarbonite that can go on the bottom rack of the dishwasher, but remember to place the lid in the top rack or it will warp from the heat.

Another great feature I love is that the buttons are all one smooth piece of plastic so there is no dried gunk in around the buttons when you accidently spill some margarite...SMOOthie , I meant smoothie. just wipe it off with a cloth and it is good as new

One draw back is that sometimes the base doesn't seem to engage properly at first and the gears spin there wheels for a second...but that may just be me not paying attention closely as I place the pitcher on the base
