KitchenAid Dishwasher Review Summary

KitchenAid is a top name for (you guessed it) kitchen appliances. With a price tag as high as the KitchenAid Dishwasher, about $900, consumers expect a perfectly running machine. Some Viewpoints reviewers give KitchenAid a thumbs-up for creating a truly reliable product. They enjoy the power behind this dishwasher that gets plates clean that haven’t been pre-rinsed. Others have found that this product simply doesn’t hold up. One reviewer was disappointed when the KitchenAid Dishwasher couldn’t stand the test of time and failed after owning it only a few years. After returning a Bosche dishwasher to Sears because they could not get parts for it we splurged on a top line KitchenAid dishwasher.  It is just awesome.

We love the silverware basket with the dividers that stop "spooning" of your spoons and forks.  There is also adequate space in there for small utensils...

I got a KitchenAid because of their reputation and because it was one the quietest dishwashers in the store. While it is reasonably quiet, much quieter that my old one, it doesn't clean as well. Dished must be scraped and rinsed and they still sometimes come out with dried on food gunk. I am very... review »

We have had Kitchen Aid Dishwashers in two of our previous homes. One was 12 years old and the other - 7years old - both were problem free.

We now have the Kitchen Aid - Model KUDP01L in our present home. It is 5years old with no problems or service calls. It has a large capacity and is an "energy star" product and saves water. If you follow there dirctions for loading, there is no pre-rinsing or scraping of dishes or pots and pans. Quiet running with a "Time Delay" setting.

This dishwasher is great, I have owned it for 6 mo. and no complaints. Purchased because of energy star & it is easy to use. 4 cycles one which is rinse only, I use the china cycle the most and it does a great job. It has a stainless tub & exterior.

I bought a kitchenaid dishwasher for my new house and it only lasted 5yrs.  My kitchenaid microwave lasted only 3yrs.  I paid lots of money for them.  I will not have kitchenaid again. I also have a kitchen aid refrigerator, which I have had 2yrs.  It is very noisey.

I had an older model Kitchen aid dishwasher that was 25 years old. When it bit the dust I replaced it with another Kitchen aid. The price was high but since I had been happy with the brand, I bought another one. I have been happy with my new one.

I was away on a business trip when my husband bought our KitchenAid dishwasher to replace the old one that came with the house.  This dishwasher has been efficient, effective and fairly quiet to run.  We don't have a large family, there's only three of us, so I admit it does not get the workout that could happen with more frequent, higher usage. There's no doubt, however, that the dishes and glassware come out clean, it keeps running with no clog-ups or overflow, and has been a reliable appliace for us.

My husband is a careful researcher before he buys. He is practical and likes great ality at...

My kitchenaid dish washer is a let down to me. I bought it becouse of the fact that all my other appliances are kitchenaid. i love them. The dishwasher does not clean well and leaves spots on glasses, even when using the soap they tell you to use. I also use a rinse agent in the machine without results.

What I do love about this dishwasher is I can put large stock pots in it. the other things are the wine glass clips on the top rack, they hold the glass upright. Tall glasses also fit on the top rack without falling over.

The KitchenAid dishwasher is terrific.  It cleans the dishes without scrubbing.  There is an extra rack for flat items that you don't want to stack.  The main rack moves up and down to allow for larger items.  Additionally, it is so quiet that you don't even know that it is working.

It is energy efficient, it holds a lot more than conventional dishwashers, has a way to lock in glasses so they don't break, which is good for wine glasses and other stemware.  There are eight (8) places for silverware or other small items with 2 areas that close so that you don't lose them.  It is also easy to...

I would nto purchase another Kitchenaid product, if they were the last manufacturer of Kitchen Appliances.

I purchased an all Kitchenaid kitchen at the suggestion of my local high end dealer.  The Stove shocked me as the electrical wires were not connected under the ceramic cooktop, and the dishwasher in teh Superba series, pure garbage.  It has never worked, from the day it was installed.  Kitchenaid is HORRIBLE to deal with, refusing to honor the warrenty, refusing after the 5th repair in 3 weeks, to replace the dishwasher.

ABASOLUTELY THE WORST SET OF APPLIANCES EVER
