This is by far my favorite appliance in my kitchen. I love to bake and this mixer can handle the stiffest cookie dough and whip the best mashed potatoes. It was a little different to get used to but 21 years later it still performs to my expectations and has never let me down. The attachments are easy to interchange and work wonderfully. I use the meat grinder and the shredder/slicer attachments often. It is worth every cent and does not fall apart as soon as the three month warranty on other appliances runs out. I can't say enough except "thanks" to the Kithen Aid company for making a great product!
