After years and years of putting up with dealing with cheap flimsily-made plastic housing stand mixers, broken plastic housings, broken beaters, broken gears and burnt out motors, I decided that enough was enough!!
I became so fed up with the extremely poor quality and the poor services of those wimpy units that I made a promice to myself that I would NEVER buy anything less than a KitchenAid Stand Mixer!!
So I bought the K-45SS Stand Mixer. It was on sale for only $165.00! That $165.00 has gone a very long way! The mixewr has more than paid for itself tenfold!! I really got my money's worth.
I had this reliable stand mixer for over 21 years, and it hasn't let me down at all! It's built like an Army tank or a battleship! And even today, it's STILL going strong!! Hasen't even batted an eyelash!!
I love its heavy all-metal construction and its unique mixing action that spins the beater(s) in one direction while rotating it in the other direction (planetary mixing).
I've made every conceivable delight with this machine, and I can attest to it's strength, durability, versatility and integrity!! The durable stainless steel bowl with handle is great!!
Comes with three beaters - a wire whip, flat beater and a dough hook as standard equipment. 10 speeds from stir to moderate mixing to fast whipping!
Durable baked-on enamel helps unit stay new looking for many years.
IN SHORT:
This great machine meets and exceeds all of my expectations!!
If you're on a budget and you're looking for a budget priced stand mixer that will give you many, many, many years of reliable service, then this machine is the one to get!! It's a keeper, a real trooper!!
