KitchenAid Stand Mixer - Classic Review

KitchenAid mixers are the best!  I never believe it until I got on myself.  I always hated spending such a large amount of money on a small appliance but if you use it enough, you will get your money's worth.  It beats, whips, mixes....flawlessly.  Of course it's not without a few drawbacks. The unit itself is very heavy and because it's so heavy I store mine on my countertop which does take up a little space.  The attachments and bowl must be cleaned and dried immediately to avoid rusting....I've not put mine in the dishwasher at all.  I'm not willing to risk it.  The pros are that it's easy to use, so easy in fact that my daughter knows how to operate it.  It has numerous speed settings from slooooow to verrrrrry fast which can come in handy when adding ingredients or whipping ingredients.  It is a little difficult to add ingredients while the unit is on.  It comes in your choice of colors and it is very easy to clean.  Over time you will find that it is worth the price.
