KitchenAid Stand Mixer - Classic Plus —
After years of struggling through my holiday baking with second rate mixers, I finally decided I would make the investment in a Kitchenaid Stand Mixer. I waited until my local store had them on sale (generally around the holidays) and brought my new acquisition home. The packaging was, for once, customer friendly, I shortly was looking upon my brand new mixer on the counter, all ready to use. The mixer has now been "tested" through several holiday seasons and has performed perfectly each time. I am a heavy baker and some of the items I bake require hand kneading of the dough preparatory to baking. One year, I thought I'd try letting my mixer take on the task, hoping I would not end up with overly tough dough. Instead, the dough was smooth, perfectly kneaded, and ready for shaping and baking. What a blessing, especially since I suffer from arthritis. I would recommend (and indeed, have recommended) the Kitchaid Mixer to many of my friends. Some of them have also made the investment and like me, agree that the benefits gained far outweigh the initial additional cost of this wonderful product.Last edited on Nov 20, 2007
