I have had my Artisian Mixer for several years and it continues to work like new. It makes cooking multiple batches of divinity at Christmas an easy job.  This mixer can walk thru mixing heavy doughs that a hand mixer till not handle.  I have personally broken several hand mixers when trying to mix cookie dough. . The Artisian handles it easily.

I have also purchased the attachments for slicing, dicing, and grinding meat. Slicing potatoes for a hotdish is simple and fast.  In the fall when we process venison I can easily grind our own hamburger and save a lot of money in processing at a meat...

love this mixer!  It is pricey--but I got mine as a gift. It is also the most beautiful mixer that Ive seen (mine is a seafoam color).  I will have it for many, many years!!!

I was given this mixer as a gift and I absolutely love it. I use it for everyday cooking, such as making mashed potatoes and making dressing for salads. It also has many different attachments that you can purchase, such as a pasta maker which you can make your own fresh pasta noodles and raviloi's and it has a juicing attachment for making fresh fruit juice. And don't forget about the ice cream maker.  I cannot even explain everything that you can possibly do with this machine from breads and cakes to frostings and pie fillings this is a do all in the kitchen. I have been lusting over this mixer ever since my grandma taught me how to bake cookies when I was younger. I always put off buying one because I thought that they were just a little too spendy for how often I would be using it. (I dont have a lot of time to bake) but when my boyfriend bought me one for Christmas this last year I was OVER THE MOON. I have NEVER looked back. It is great for everything. I look for reasons to use it now. It is great quality and quiet. Totally worth the money. I will have it for a VERY long time. Maybe I will even teach my grandkids with it!

My children and their boyfriends gave me the Kitchenaid Artisan Stand Mixer for my 50th birthday present. It is by far the best and most powerful mixer of all time. I love to bake but had a very hard time stirring chocolate chips into cookie dough. This machine stirs them in thoroughly. It beats a cake mix in less than a minute. It comes with a paddle, a whisk & a dough hook. Attachments are available: pasta maker, food processor, blender and more. So powerful it has a 3-pronged plug. I would recommend this a special gift to any cook or baker. It' expensive but worth its weight in gold.

Not a week passes whereby I do not use my Kitchen Aid Artisan stand mixer. I love this appliance. I bought this appliance in 2005 and it is used at least two times a week. It is excellent quality and very heavy duty. I used it to mix cakes, whip cream, and make bread/pizza dough. It is my work horse in the kitchen and does the hard work of mixing/ beating/ kneading for me. It is the only appliance have have left out on my countertops since it is so frequently used. It is easy to set up and to clean up. If anything ever happened to this one, I would have it replaced within the week.
