KitchenAid Stand Mixer - Artisan Review

Okay, to borrow from the great Michael Jackson, this is IT!  The KitchenAid Artixan Mixer is the Utopia any true lover of cooking is searching for.  Sturdy and solidly built, this thing will last longer than Betty White, and it's much easier to look at (sorry Betty...)  Mixes anything like a charm, with enough variable settings to get any desired speed, and clean up is a breeze.  Don't hide this thing away in the cupboard, though - put it on display so you can just sit and gaze at it's astounding beauty.  It really is a thing of art.  Besides, it'll make you LOOK like a premiere cook, even if you never lift a finger in the kitchen besides tearing open a box of Betty Crocker. 

True, owning one can set you back a few pennies, but if you've ever pulled out that tiny hand-held mixer every time a mixing job is required and felt empty and incomplete, you KNOW what's missing in your life - an objet d'art such as the Artisan Mixer.  True, it may be overkill and that handheld probably does everything you need to simply cook (I mean, who really uses that splatter guard thingy?!), but without the je ne sais pas achievable only with the KitchenAid Artisan.
