Most HelpfulThe kitchen-Aid Stand Mixer does not leave up to its reputation at all. In a world full of mixers and blenders and the like you would think that a mixer with its reputation would last longer and work up to its full potential. This one was a big disappointments to me.This is something i use everyday...
review »I recieved a Kitchen Aid Stand Up Mixer in April for my birthday. I have always wanted one of these and they have never been in my budget but my husband saved and get me one. During the holidays it was been a tradition that my kids give out cookies trays to their special friends and adults as gifts. This year the stand up mixer made preparing the cookies so much easier to make and cut my preparing time in half. I have always use just a normal hand mixer and they sometimes die out trying to get the dry ingredients mixed. This year I was able to make a double batch of homemade sugar cookies...
review »I have had my KitchenAid for twenty years. It is the most reliable piece of equipment I have. I cook for a living and it would be one of the important things I would grab in case of a fire, besides family and pets that is.
So reliable. can handle heavy doughs. Also many excellent accessories availabe for it, pasta maker etc..........Just can't live without it. I have made double batches of chocolate chip cookies in it and it doesn't break a sweat. No straining of the motor. It also a a wonderful bowl collar that helps prevent wearing the flour as you add it to the bowl. The pasta maker accessory...
review »The KitchenAid stand mixer is wonderful addition to any kitchen. I had been through countless cheap to midgrade mixers before this one. I made my children's birthday cakes every year. I usually made them character cakes and I would literally burn up mixers on making the decorator icing. Every single year, another one bit the dust. I finally decided that enough was enough. The kitchenaid stand mixer did cost more than any mixer that I have ever owned so I had to talk my husband into it. It has convinced us though that you do get what you pay for. We have had this mixer now for the last 6 years and...
review »A kitchen is just not complete without a KitchenAid Stand Mixer. There is something about the classic look of this sleek machine that completes a kitchen and gives it that special something. But enough about the look, did I mention it comes in various colors?? This mixer is really a cooks best friend. It can do it all and then some! Sure you can use it for mixing but did you know you can purchase other attachments and do other things such as grinding meat? These mixers are so well made I think it will last forever and then some. The only downfall to the amazing craftsmanship is that it is quite...
review »I have 2 of these babies, a 4 1/2 qt and a 5 qt. Both of them are little workhorses, that I use daily in my bakery. I did have another 4 1/2 qt, but I fried it after many years of faithful service.
I like the larger one better because of the bowl lift, the tilt head one can smash your fingers in low cabinets, and I find it harder to clean.
Not only do I make plenty of batters, doughs and icing in them, but I also have the attachment for shredding (carrots for carrot cake) and I often make them pull double duty in my home - the attachment that strains the skin and seeds of tomatoes is a must have...
