I've been wanting one of these for so long. All the chefs on Food Network use them, so I figured they must be the best, and all the reviews I've read concur. I finally asked for it for Christmas, and to my surprise, I got it!

I'm very happy with it. I got the 5 quart mixer, in silver. It's very high quality, and worth every penny. I am a little disappointed at the cost of the accessories, although I'm sure they're worth the money also. I wish the set I got came with at least one accessory.

I've used it several times now, and I've been nothing but pleased. I've used each of the attachment beaters, and they all work nicely. I love the fact that it is very easy to use, very intuitive. I didn't need to read the manual to use it. I find myself in the kitchen more, baking and cooking up a storm. I think it's because it's satisfying to just pour stuff into a bowl and have all the rest of the work done for you! :D

I would say the one drawback is it's size, and, therefore, it's weight. If you're not able to lift 25lbs. you will want to keep it on your counter. We have a tiny house, and hence, no real space for the mixer. My husband now has a special project: to build me a special cabinet on wheels with storage space for my mixer. I'm sure I'll be buying tons of accessories for it, so I'll need storage for those, too.  But it will be worth it! I'll be able to get rid of a few other small appliances that will most assuredly be rendered obsolete.

Bottom Line: Buy one. Now. You'll love it, but make sure you have space for it.
