KitchenAid Professional HD Reviews

I've been wanting a Kitchen Aid stand mixer for years!  My husband surprised me by giving me one for my birthday!  I use it at least 3 times a week for making breads, muffins, cakes and cookies.  The mixer has a generous 5 quart bowl that is more than big enough for double batches of our favorite chocolate chip cookies or muffins!  I was able to make 6 dozen cookies for the kids school bake sale in just 3 double batches.  It has made my life so much simpler!  I'm not sure how I was able to get things done with my weak little hand mixer before!

My Kitchenaide Professional HD was purchased approximately two years ago at Sam's Club. It is my favorite small kitchen appliance.  It has proved to be a real work horse. I can do double batches of cookies, although I wish the bowl was a little bigger for this.  It does well with bread dough and other heavy mixes.

 This mixer does a great job on most anything.  You still have to stop and scrape the bowl occasionally in the beginning as the beater does not reach the base of the bowl. I.e. cake mixes.  That would be my biggest complaint  Also, it is more difficult to add ingredients, but for...

I love my KitchenAid Professional HD stand mixer!  If you love to bake, and do it regularly or are serious about it, you need one of these.  This is the professional model, identical to the ones I used in pastry school, which means that instead of the top lifting up, there are arms that cradle the bowl, and then you pull a lever to bring it to the attachement.  It comes with a dough hook, a wire whip, and a mixing paddle, a 5-quart bowl and a recipe booklet.  The 5-quart bowl is large enough for some pretty hefty batches--more than adequate for home baking.  All the pieces are well-made and...

I have the best friends in the world.

For my birthday, a bunch of them pitched in and bought me the KitchenAid Stand Mixer of My Dreams. The friend who spearheaded the effort heard me say that, if I were getting married, the first thing I'd register for would be this mixer. In fact, I kinda wanted to get married just so that I could register for it. She decided that I shouldn't have to wait.

The Kitchen AId HD Professional stand mixer is great!!  I am glad it is assembled in the USA but wish the parts, especially the bowl, was made in the USA.  I fear contamination in the foreign made parts.  The mixer is very easy to use and makes dough making a breeze.  I would highly recommend this product!

This is the best addition to my kitchen.  I absolutely love it!  If you bake or cook you need this machine!
