KitchenAid Professional HD Review

I've been wanting a Kitchen Aid stand mixer for years!  My husband surprised me by giving me one for my birthday!  I use it at least 3 times a week for making breads, muffins, cakes and cookies.  The mixer has a generous 5 quart bowl that is more than big enough for double batches of our favorite chocolate chip cookies or muffins!  I was able to make 6 dozen cookies for the kids school bake sale in just 3 double batches.  It has made my life so much simpler!  I'm not sure how I was able to get things done with my weak little hand mixer before! 

The mixer came with a wire whip for making meringues, a bread hook to make fabulous bread dough and a paddle to use for most mixing jobs.  It also comes with a recipe book including a wonderful no-fail bread recipe.  The kids love helping me make this bread.  I like that I feel like I'm doing something special for my kids when we are able to do things like bake bread together!
