KitchenAid Professional 6qt Bowl Lift Stand Mixer Review

The KitchenAid Professional took the place of my 30 year old 5qt KitchenAid, which has been passed on to a family member and still works great! The need for speed brought me to this newer, bigger model and I haven't been disappointed. I have seen the way these appliances are made and was impressed with the quality. I love the ease of use and the fact that there are other options available for purchase that can make this a multi-purpose machine, making it even more valuable in the kitchen. It is not just a mixer but a pasta machine, meat grinder, sausage maker, etc. and with each task given to this wonderful machine it just powers through. My mixer is the standard white but I like the fact that the KitchenAid is available in so many colors, both designer and old standards. The attachments are even easier to attach and detach than in the older models and I like that the newer attachments are not coated. After 20 years my old mixer attachment coating tended to crack and peel. I like the collar that fits on the bowl to help keep the dry ingredients from "puffing" back out of the bowl and aims the ingredients into the bowl an not onto the beater. Thank you KitchenAid for such a wonderful product.
