KitchenAid Professional 600 Series 6-quart Stand Mixer Review

This mixer is the most valuable kitchen appliance I own! I do almost all of my baking through the easy-to-use mixer and it's many accessories. I especially like the dough hook (see below for more comments regarding this). The only down side I could think of was that it is pretty heavy...but that is because it's made of heavy-duty, quality materials. I love the way that it looks too. I can keep it out on the counter so that I do not have to lug it back and forth. My mom had the good idea of putting it on a small cart that she just rolls up to the counter when she needs it and rolls it back into the pantry when she doesn't- no fuss! I love the bread hook option. That allows me to knead my dough without making a HUGE mess on the counter. My hubby's favorite is chocolate chip cookies- which are a breeze to make with the Kitchen Aide Mixer. I thought that the mixer was pretty expensive (I was lucky enough to get it for a wedding present though). However, my mother purchased hers over 10 years ago and it is still working just a good as ever. I figure that you are certainly getting your money out of the purchase. I just have the classic model, but if you are a more experienced cook or if you need more options on your mixer, this company can offer you many choices with their products.
