I am happy to leave my kitchenaid mixer on my counter. I used to store a hand mixer in my cabinet--not anymore. I now actually look for ways to use this mixer everyday. It makes baking and food preparation easy. It is one powerful machine. Clean up is also easy which is something that i look for (it can be a deal breaker for me when buying a product). I never want to be without it.
