KitchenAid Nonstick Cookware Set: 5 Years and Going Strong

5

I registered for the KitchenAid Nonstick Cookware set when I was getting married over five years ago and I'm so thrilled I did. These are my go-to pots and pans and I'm thrilled to say that after five years of hard use they are still going strong. I use them for everything: from my daily fried eggs in the morning, to making soups, and sauces, to popping popcorn. They are so excellent for everything that you cook on a stovetop. Doesn't Stick After five years, my smallest skillet is a little less non-stick than it once was. But I do use it almost every day, so I think that it has held up well considering all the use it gets. The larger skillet is also not completely non-stick anymore, but it also gets a ton of use. All three pots are still in great condition and things do not stick to them. Heat Distribution I have used these on four different stoves since purchasing them, two electric and two gas, and they always work well. There are never any hot spots with these pans, even though two of the stoves were especially bad. The metal is quality and the right thickness and things cook evenly in these pans. Ease of Handling The handles on these do not heat up at all and the lids have good rubberized centers which makes dealing with them during cooking easy. Ease of Cleaning The non-stick surface makes for quick, easy washing, which is wonderful. No endless scrubbing to get off pasta sauce and other tough things. Design These pots are anodized aluminum, rather than tephlon, so the non-stick surface doesn't flake off and get in your food. This is great and much safer and healthier.

Love the color, great quality

I usually do not spend a lot of money on cookware because it tends to get scratched and the non-stick coating starts to peel, but these were so thick and beautiful that I couldn't resist.  I purchase two red non-stick saute pans and I will choose these over my other pans any day.  They are nice deep pans, so they work great for making saucy dishes and I don't make such a big mess.  They do have several scratches after being used for a couple years, but that is more our fault than the pans as we weren't very careful.  They are nice and thick, so I don't have to worry about my cook burning or getting too dark unless I leave it longer than I should.  The only thing I would like is lids.  My two pans did not have matching lids, and because of their size it is almost impossible to find lids that work.  My sister actually ended up making me one from a pizza pan and screwed a handle onto it.  Besides that, I would buy more any day.  I love them!

It is the best set of cookware I have ever owned.

I recieved the kitchenAid cookware as a gift.  Over the years I have owned several sets of cookware as I cook a lot and must say the KitchenAid is one of the best I have ever used.  At forst I was not sure I would like the glass lids, but quickly came to love them.  It does make it easy to see what is occuring without taking the lid off as some of the items I prepare need precise time without being uncovered and the glass lids make the job easier. I noticed there is a even heat distribution with all of the pots and pans and with some of the dishes I prepare that is extremely important.  Overall, I love the KitchenAid set I have and have even added some additional pieces over the past two months.  I would reccomend the KitchenAid to anyone looking to change or add cookware to their kitchen

KitchenAid Non-Stick Cookware is excellent - as expected

KitchenAid non-stick cookware is new to me.  I didn't realize that they even made cookware until a few months ago and I received two non-stick skillets as a gift.  These skillets are awesome.  I have two different sizes and they are used almost every day at my house.  The smaller skillet is perfect for two eggs or one grilled cheese sandwich or sauting vegetables.  I use the larger one for frying up meat, making a skillet dinner or searing a roast before cooking it.  You can fit 4 pork chops in the larger skillet at one time. There are many things I love about these skillets and I'll try to the really important ones.  The handles don't slip or get hot to the touch.  The non-stick coating has worked great so far, no sign of peeling or chipping.  I have been using plastic or wooden utensils, hand-washing them and drying immediately which I was told does help in the life of non-stick cookware.  Another thing I love is the look.  Their design is very nice, the handle is silicone-type material on the bottom to help with the gripping and heat control while the top of the handle is stainless steel with the KitchenAid emblem on it.  They look nice, which is always a plus but they work great which is really what's important when picking cookware.

KitchenAid Non-Stick Cookware doesn't stay beautiful

**KitchenAid Non-Stick Cookware** I have the **KitchenAid Non-Stick ****hard anodized aluminum ****Cookware. **I got a really good deal on it but would never pay full price. I feel like it has performed well. I don't have any trouble with things sticking. My problem is that you can't put it in the dishwasher or it may lose its nonstick ability. The outside finish starts to look really ugly too. You have to be careful with what utensils you use on any nonstick and that doesn't change when you spend more. I have never put my pans in the dishwasher (pain) and they  are still starting to look, well gross with water stains or something. I have the 12 piece set. I have never used metal utensils in them but they are starting to get scrapes in the bottom**. **Don't get me wrong, they work fine if you are definitely going with nonstick, I just think I would go with stainless steel next time around. Which will probably be a while  because good cookware is expensive.****

The KitchenAid Non-Stick Cooking Griddle is exceptional!

5

Two Christmases ago, I received the KitchenAid Non-Stick Stovetop Cooking Griddle as a gift from my husband. At first look, the cookwear is very attractive. It showcases a red enameled bottom and short sides, a cushioned red handle, and black non-stick coating inside the pan. Over the past two years, I have used this piece of non-stick cookwear for mostly cooking pancakes and eggs. The short sides of this griddle work well for flipping items in the pan with a spatula, since the sides do not get in the way! One word of caution, you must have very good aim when flipping food items on this griddle (as with any other, I'm sure), since your food can end up running down the sides of the pan if you don't get it positioned in just the right spot when turning it over! Overall, I have enjoyed using this non-stick piece very much and find that the "non-stick" holds up exceptionally well compared to other non-stick cookwear I have tried. I continue to not need to use non-stick cooking spray, even two years later, since the non-stick enamel is still doing its job beautifully. Also, it has not begun to scrape, peel, or flake off at all. I would recommend this product to a friend since I have been so happy with the results of my KitchenAid Non-Stick Stovetop Cooking Griddle!

I can cook again!

I have an electric stove and with the pans I have it was hard to cook. My cast iron pans over heat on the coils and my stainless steel ones make everything stick. So my boyfriend surprised me with a new non-stick skillet and I am so happy I love cooking again! Nothing sticks to this pan! I left it on the stove without cleaning it for a few days and when I finally did clean it, everything washed right off with no effort at all. Also these pans have a heat distribution system on the bottom so even when I have the heat all the way up on the stove, the pan doesn't get too hot and all my food cooks evenly. Pancakes, eggs, potato's, they all slide right off and flip like a dream on this pan, no more broken yolks. The handle has a rubber grip too, so no more burning your hands. The only bummer is the one I got didn't come with a lid, and it was a little pricey, but it's Kitchen Aid and that means quality. So if you're looking for a new pan or a whole set of pans, I highly suggest looking into the Kitchen Aid ones, they're awesome!

I love my Kitchenaid Cookware - it's awesome!

I purchased my non-stick Kitchenaid cookware a few years ago and it's fantastic!  First, it's beautiful.  I got my set in red and I just love the way it looks.  The matching silicone handles on the lids and handles of the pots is a great feature - it looks great and provides function.  I use my cookware daily.  The 12 inch deep skillet is probably my favorite piece in the set.  I have 5 children, so we have to cook in large quanitites and this skillet is perfect for us!  I can easily brown 3-5 pounds of hamburger at once.  I also use it to make sauces in large quantities.  I just pop on the lid and I can let it simmer for hours.  My next favorite piece would be the stock-pot.  I use it at least once or twice a week for a soup, stew, chili, or broth.  It holds so much food and I never worry about my food sticking to the great non-stick surface. My only complaint is that after a couple of years, the red color on the outside has started to darken, and the non-stick interior surface of the pots and pans has gotten significantly scratched and worn.  While I try to never use any metal utensils with my pans, it still seems to be damaged.  However, other than that - I'm in love with my cookware!
