    The best mixer, durable and easy to use, very dependable, 10 speed settings, can mix 3x recipe chocolate chip cookies, whips egg whites or cream in minutes, runs well on low for heavy dough, A powerful mixer that makes baking easy

    it's a bit pricy, Very heavy

KitchenAid Mixer - Professional 5 Plus Series  — 

I got my Kitchenaid mixer for Christmas; I had been coveting one for years.  I love it!  I bake just so I can use it sometimes.  I've used all three mxing attachments, they all work beautifully.  The only negative is that sometimes ingredients get built up below the paddle, so I have to stop and scrape the bottom of the bowl so that everything is incorporated. 

I have one attachment for it so far - the slicer/grater.  It is awesome, slices and chops like a dream
