KitchenAid Mixer - Professional 5 Plus Series Review

I'd have never dreamed that I would fall in love with a kitchen appliance, but this Kitchenaid Pro5 has hooked me.  Is there anything this machine can't do?  As if standard mixer projects done expertly and without stress weren't enough - they make attachments that will do anything and everything you need to do in a kitchen this side of a stove! The wire wisk makes the best whipped cream, cake frosting, or meringue ever!!

Even if you are not all that into baking, it does so much more than mixing up cakes and doughs. I particularly like the meat grinder attachment for healthy ground meat trimmed of all visible fat. This machine has the power to easily grind any cheap cut we drop into it. I can't wait to try the pasta maker attachment. Now I know how all those TV cooks got started.  Really good kitchen equipment makes you want to be in the kitchen a whole lot more. 

I would recommend this machine to anyone in the market for a havy duty kitchen mixer that will power a variety of attachments. The only drawback for me was buying hte 5 quart machine, when I could have held out and gotten the six quart model.  This appliance is going to last you the rest of your life, and you're going to use it a LOT - so get the best version of it that you can afford.
