I bake stuff all the time for everyone anytime they need it and even when they don't. It's a fun hobby for me, and I like coming up with my own new cookie creations. I had a Sunbeam Mixmaster 200 before. It was a normal hand mixer that could snap onto a plastic stand. It came with a heavy glass bowl that could be set upon a spinning turntable. It was pretty rudimentary, but I couldn't afford the big guy. I thought it was pretty good. Still it was better than using just a hand mixer. I needed upper-body workouts to keep me in good enough shape for the amount of cookies I was making to use that!
I use this Kitchen Aid mixer for almost everything. The machine is extremely durable and hard working. It can whip eggs for meringues in minutes using the whisk while still taking on the challenge of a speciality pasta dough using the paddle or hook. I love the red color and the attachments that came with it. I have also added a sausage stuffer and pasta roller. Both are extremely easy to attach, versatile and as durable as the mixer.
Personally, I also like the KitchenAid mixer because it is heavy. It does not move around the counter like some other mixers I have had in the past. Anyone who has...
I really love to cook and bake in the kitchen and I finally splurged and bought a KitchenAid Kitchen Aid Pro 6 qt. Mixer which is the best kitchen appliance I have ever owned. I was a little hesitant about spending over $300 on a mixer, but it seemed great and not only promised to deliver on mixing, but also had an added ice cream maker and pasta roller attachments. I bought this in a deep plum color, but they have many colors to choose from to match any kitchen. The base won't slip on the counter and it is very easy to use. I use this for mixing up cake and brownie batters, and it is perfect...
read full review »I have wanted a Kitchen Aid mixer since before I was married, and one Mother's Day, my husband fulfilled this dream for me. I had done months of research and came to the conclusion that the Kitchen Aid Pro 6 Qt. Mixer was the one for me. I'm an avid home cook with a history in restaurants, bakeries, and catering, so I knew that Kitchen Aid was the most commonly used stand mixer in most restaurants and bakeries, so that is what I wanted. Hubby ordered my Kitchen Aid online and got a free ice cream mixer attachment with it, which was an added bonus! I selected the cinnamon red and have not been dissapointed....
read full review »I love my Kitchen Aid mixer. When baking from scratch I always pull it out, even though it is a bit heavy to do so. It is well worth the effort as it saves time while baking by leaving your hands free to do other tasks. You can whip egg whites while you measure out ingredients, grease the cake pan or even tidy up as you bake. The mixer is perfect for mixing light or heavy batters. The motor is heavy duty and the mixer has never failed me yet, even one Christmas when my friend and I decided to make a triple batch of biscotti. That was a very heavy batter and the Kitchen Aid mixer worked...

This mixer is great for being able to get things whipped up while you are preparing other ingredients or just taking a break from it all!
I have had a KitchenAid mixer for 12 years now and I LOVE it. It is very high quality. The mixer has several speeds and a locking mode so that the beater will stay down in the bowl while you are whipping up your culinary masterpiece.
Durable, easy to clean up, reliable and sure to go the extra mile in quality...these mixers shoudl be a staple...
read full review »I absolutely love my KitchenAid Pro 6qt Mixer. I've had mine for about 4 years. I fell in love with them even before that. My mom had one. They are a kind of pricey, but well worth the money. The 6qt is better to me because it has a bigger capacity and it's a a heavy dutier mixer. It's very easy to use and wether you are making mashed potatoes or yeast dough, it makes the job fast and easy. It comes with 3 attachments, that are easy to change out. It was several different spend options for any job. It's fairly easy to clean, but the attachments and the base are not dishwasher...
read full review »My grandma had a KitchenAid mixer, my mom has one, and now I have the KitchenAid Pro 6 qt. one. It is, BY FAR, the best kitchen appliance you can purchase. It's definitely worth the price, and you can find an attachment for just about any task at hand. The colors are amazing, although I ended up with a charcoal grey one because it was a gift. An instruction manual is not necessary, as it is so simple to operate! We use this mixer for both baking and cooking. We're able to mash an insane amount of potatoes at once, and I can make several (thick) batches of cookies all at the same time. ...
read full review »I have had my Kitchen Aid mixer for five years and I couldn't live without it. My husband bought it for me for Christmas. I love it especially because I do alot of baking. It is the best appliance I have ever used. I use it for cakes, cookies, bread dough, pizza dough, mashed potatoes and even mixing my ground beef for meatballs or meat loaf. I love the look, it goes great with the rest of my kitchen. The Kitchen Aid comes in a variety of colors and different accessories. I haven't had the opportunity to buy the accessories for making pasta or grounding my own meat but there are other Christmases....
read full review »I LOVE my Kitchen Aid mixer. I wanted one for a long time and finally got it about 7 years ago. I use it all the time. During Christmas I make a TON of cookies. More then anyone should ever make. I make multiple batches of each cookie and with my Kitchen Aid I can make them at the same time. This is a HUGE time saver. It is so powerful I can do triple batches of cookies without worrying that my mixer is going to break. Then during the rest of the year if I just want to make a single batch of something it does great then as well. I use it for everything. Cookies, bread dough, whip cream, and many...
read full review »I have had a Kitchen Aid 6 quart pro-mixer now for 10 years and before that I had the
Classic Mixer. I love it. I make home made pizza at least once every couple of weeks
and it performs beautifully. It takes 8 cups of flour and all the rest of the ingredients and
kneads the dough perfectly. And I can go about doing something else in the 10 minutes it takes to knead the dough. I also use it for cakes, frostings, pies, cookies, and I have the noodle attachment and use it to make homemade spaghetti and raviolis. I As I said I had the classic mixer before and it performed well for most...
read full review »As a Baker, I have found my mixer to come in handy almost everyday. From baking bread to making brownies this makes baking a synch. This is especially useful for everyone out there who doesn't like to bake because it does all the work for you. I have mine in red and accent throughout my kitchen with red. Even though I am a neat freak I feel no need to put it away when the job is done because it really adds to the decor of my kitchen. The extra large mixer makes my holiday cookie exchanges a breeze because it has no issues whipping up large quantities
Every year it is cookie time at our home for Christmas Holiday, Here lately I have come to dread it as years have past. Well I mean to tell you Christmas baking time is on again because My Caring Husband of 35 yrs bought me this mixer. I'm so impressed by the speed and ease that it handles even the heaviest of doughs that I don't get excited easily but this has it hands down.
I love this item.. It makes my job a little easyer on days! It works great.. I would not use or buy anything else. I know that they are a little up there in the price but its worth it to not have to buy one every couple of years.
