Pros

    great power, easy to assemble and take apart, food blends evenly, multi speeds, easy to clean

    doesn't blend ice as well

KitchenAid KSB560 5 Speed Blender — 

The Kitchen Aid Blender is fabulous for shakes - even blended ice shakes!  Just be sure to follow these steps when making your shakes and you can't go wrong!

Put in your fruit and/vegetables first and blend on puree.  Add the ice next and blend on puree again.  Don't forget the PULSE button is great to get those larger pieces cut down to size!  Add your liquid/eggs/powders next and use liquify.  Your shake will be smoooooooooooooooooooth!

Be sure to clean your Kitchen Aid right away.
