KitchenAid KSB560 5 Speed Blender Review

I had an older version of a Kitchen Aid model.  The prongs stuck out of the base and slowly, one-by-one, they kept breaking and then I couldn't use it anymore.  When researching the purchase of our new blender I realized that Kitchen Aid revised their 5-speed model and decided to give it a try.  I primarily use it for smoothies.  It blends well and quickly. 

If I had to complain about anything, it would be how loud it is.  It is quite loud.  I do use mostly frozen fruits so that may contribute, but I wish it was quieter.  It is also quite heavy.  I don't mind that so much because I like a solid product. 

Another perk is Kitchen Aid offers so many colors.  We purchased the orange one to match our kitchen, but they have a large variety so you should be able to find one that matches your taste and your kitchen.

I'm pleased we went with a Kitchen Aid again.  They last longer and with the newly revised model there aren't any plastic prongs that can break off.  Our older model did last about 11 years.
