I just bought the JavaStudio in red to match my kitchen---Not many coffee makers come in red! This thing is really easy to use because you can put the water and the coffee in the same opening at the top, there isn't the typical "swing out" basket for your coffee with a different area to place the water. Cleanup is very easy, too.... Just lift the front top lid and remove the basket and rinse it with the carafe. You are ready for the next day! I have found no "cons" to this KitchenAid Java Studio.
