Its portability is very important to me, i can easily carry it when traveling upcountry to use it for cooking. It is very stable which is very important to me, and the fact that i can use it to cook in different pans at the same time. Temperature Control The fire regulating buttons are very effective. When you close them they don't leave room for any gas leakage. Heat Distribution Because it different sizes of burners its easy to chose the best for the size for the pan in use. Durability It takes up to 4yrs before the regulator buttons begin to fall of. The burners are also very efficient. Design You can cook different foods at the same time hence you save a lot more time. Because of its size it easily fits to my table top very easily. Sometimes when am not very keen the pan in one plate can easily burn the back of my hand. i wish the spaces can be a little bigger. Ease of Cleaning Non stick covers and top makes it easy to clean. the burners and the top parts are easily removable for easy cleaning and drying.

We purchased this gas 5 burner cooktop at sears as an open box and received 50% off. It fit easily in to the opening our builder grade 4 burner was in so the granite did not have to be cut! This model has a lockout option for the controls which is wonderful in a house full of little ones or even for grandparents since the controls are at the front and edge of the countertop. If you are using the center burner which is the "power burner", it can be difficult to use the other burners. I like to use my wok there but then must use my small pots around it due to close proximity of the burners. If my pot in the middle is small to medium, I can get 5 of them on all at once. I do like having the choice in the middle of going from power to simmer quickly. To be honest, the middle burner is the workhorse of the unit for me. The other main reason we purchased this model is because it has cast iron grates that can withstand my cast iron pots and pans. The previous GE model we had bowed from the weight of the pans. I am very pleased with the durability of this unit and have had it for one year.

Good product can cook on multi areas, sleek design easy to use and more bang for your buck. Its easy to clean and the space you have on it is pretty good you dont feel crowded. Its ideal for having a full stove cooking such as making breakfast, frying, etc. Its space gives you options to do it all. Temperature Control easy to access. The number dial is good to ensure to have the amount temperature need for whatever you are making. Heat Distribution its good and does it properly. This cooktop distributes heat everywhere i haven't noticed any problems and i have had a full stove making all kinds of things. Durability no problems. The amount of times i have used it no problems such as factory issues or nothing it helps to put warranty on big purchases though just in case that is a safe bet. I always do. Design I like the design of it modern stainless steel, and easy to operate. Ease of Cleaning its not a problem you can even detach the top grills to clean in between and put back no problem.

I have the Kitchen Aid stainless steel cooktop. It is sleek-looking and blends in well with my other appliances in my modern kitchen. It has been a top-performer for me. I love to cook and use it every day-all day and I have not had a single problem with it. Temperature Control It is easy to control your temperature on this model. At first I was a little surprised at the force at which it turns on. Don't get too close! But you will quickly get used to this. Heat Distribution Although I do love this cooktop, one of the burners seems to be a little uneven with its heat distribution. I have not figured out why. Durability I have had this cooktop for several years and it gets daily use. I have not had any problems with it to date. Design I like its unfussy, clean styling. It fits well in a modern kitchen. Ease of Cleaning Is any cooktop easy to clean? I'm not sure about that, but this cooktop is better than what I used to have. Just be careful with the stainless steel- it does scratch easily. Use the right products. I learned the hard way!

we purchased this kitchen aid gas cooktop to replace our existing electric cooktop when we renovated our kitchen. we wanted to move to gas for better cooking purposes since electric is so hard to adjust quickly. we researched various different gas cooktops before settling on this one. the kitchen aid gas cooktop has 5 burners - 2 on the right, 2 on the left and one large one in the middle. we use the middle one with a griddle to cook bacon and pancakes. the benefit of the gas is a more even cooking ability. this cooktop is easy to use and very easy to clean and maintain. we are very pleased with our choice and would recommend this to anyone.

Our 5-burner Kitchen Aid gas stovetop was already in place in our home when we purchased it almost 2 years ago. It was one of the biggest selling points for us, along with the double Kitchen Aid oven! It is the focal point of the kitchen, stunning in stainless-steel and complimented by the large Kitchen Aid vent above it. It is great having 5 burners of various sizes, especially when I am cooking for a family/friend gathering or holiday dinner. One of the burners is extra wide, great for simmering a large pot of soup or a big pot of boiling water for corn on the cob. The only drawback of this stovetop is having to clean it... it is relatively easy to clean, but not my favorite thing to do! I love cooking on this product on daily basis, such a joy!

The KitchenAid 5 burner gas cooktop is terrific.  1 burner is for light cooking or keeping things warm, while 2 other burners are for normal everyday cooking, boiling, etc.  1 burner is for large pots and higher intensity cooking while the center burner is great for a griddle as it puts out a lot of heat and will cook evenly. All of the grates are removable for easy cleaning. This unit is for those people that enjoy cooking or do a lot at a time as although there is only 30 inches, it promises a lot of good use, energy efficient and easy to clean.  When I have company and need several burners at a time, I am not disappointed. I would highly recommend it.
