I have a lot of different oven mitts, and one that I use frequently when I'm baking is the KitchenAid Cool Zone Oven Mitt in red. This works really well when I'm baking cookies and need to get a lot of cookie trays out of the oven. I honestly cannot feel the heat thru this oven mitt. I also like that it looks really nice. I normally leave it just laying out next to the oven. Sometimes I even put this on the table to set hot dishes on so I don't have to put them directly on the wooden table. This mitt is easy to clean as well. I wash it once and awhile. It goes thru the washing machine well, and it did not shrink even though I have washed it a few times. Ease of Cleaning This is really easy to clean because I just put it thru the washing machine. It does not shrink, and it gets the oven mitt really clean. Design I like the design of this oven mitt because it's easy to use, and it makes it easy to pick up oven trays. Sometimes oven mitts make it difficult to hold different size trays, but it is easy with the KitchenAid oven mitt.
