The KitchenAid Cook's Series Seventeen-Piece Starter Tool and Gadget Set is a good starter set for college students or people starting out. however, the quality of the set is not as superior as the other sets that I have purchased. I have since replaced this set due to it's trouble cleaning and durability. Ease of Cleaning I often found that there were remnants of food that stuck even after heavy scrubbing. I found that even when i would scrub and put the utensils in the dishwasher, it felt like there was a dirty film feeling and look to the utensils. I never felt like they were clean to cook with. Durability The kitchen aid set does not come across as being the most durable; on more than one occasion, i have replaced a broken or chipped utensil. I don't feel that this set was well constructed or completely heat resistent. Design I do not feel, based on my personal experiences, that these products were well designed.
