When my mother bought me my Kithen Aid classic stand mixer a few years ago, I smiled politely, but when I got home it went into the cupboard and there it sat unused for long enough where I forgot I even had it.  I found it while reorganizing my kitchen and decided it was time to give it a try.  So I made some chocolate chip cookies, and was pleasantly at how much quicker and easier it was than by making them by hand.  Soon it was all I used when baking!  I learned to make homemade marshmallows by using the wisk attachment.  I use it to knead homemade bread, which if you've ever made bread...

I have wanted one for as long as I can remember. It is the very first thing I registered for when my husband I got engaged, but unfortunately I received nearly everything on my list except it (of course!) About a year ago, my husband finally got all my hints and was kind enough to buy it for me, and I have been a happy girl ever since. It truly is as useful as I always thought it would be. The thing I appreciate the most about it is that I can turn it on, start adding ingredients to the mixing bowl as it is slowly mixing, and by the time I finally get everything in the bowl, it is properly mixed...
