I purchased a Professional Style Kitchenaid Mixer many years ago and still use it at least once a week to make bread. Most food processors will pull the ingredients together, but are unable to knead the dough for the 10 or so minutes that you would have to, otherwise, do by hand.
I compared prices as I always do, and although KitchenAid seemed to be one of the most expensive ones, I checked EBay to see what was listed there. There were several there in all styles and colors. Quite by coincidence, I found the stainless steel one that I was looking for and bought it at auction at about 2/3 the price retail. We all know that this mixer is quite heavy and the next best thing was that the sender did not charge me any shipping!!!
