After 30 years of marriage I finally got this and I love it. I have had mine for a year now and could not be happier.  It is a bit heavy to move but that is ok I will deal with it as I am so pleased with the mixer. There is a nice range of setting from 1-10 for mixing which I find very nice. The fact that it is hands free use is wonderful the mixed is really very steady so I don't worry as I am in the area doing more measuring or whatever else needs to be done.   I had an Oster with all the bells and whistles before this but it can not compare to my Kitchenaid.  I do like the variety of colors available to choose from and the choice of attachments. I have now purchased one for our daughter and daugher in law as Christmas gifts. The quality is outstanding as I have always found with Kitchenaid.
