I was gifted this thinking I would never use it. When we decided to make real lemonade from lemons for a huge gathering I could never have imagined doing it without this handy attachment. Very easy to use and clean. It isn't something I would purchase for my kitchenaid but if you process lots of citrus or make your own OJ, this is a must have.

I recieved the kitchen aid juicer attachment for my stand mixer as a gift. I never even thought how much use I could get out of a juicer. It attaches to the front of the Kitchen Aid mixer so easily there is never an excuse not to make fresh juice. Now adding fresh squeezed juice to recipes is a snap. And clean-up is also a snap. I just load it into the dishwasher and it washes up just great. If you are looking for an easy way to make fresh squeezed juice consider buying the Kitchen Aid Juicer attachment. The price is well worth it and as all Kitchen Aid products, it is meant to last your lifetime. Fresh squeezed orange juice in winter, easily made lemonade in summer- who could ask for more?

As I mentioned in my review of the KitchenAid Pro 450 Series 4.5-Quart Stand Mixer KSM450, I received these items for Christmas, and put them to immediate use. The citrus juicer provided fresh-squeezed orange juice to accompany our Christmas breakfast, and I have used it for oranges, limes, lemons, and tangerines since that time. Over and over, I have been impressed by the ease of use, the ease of cleaning the unit, and its over performance. I even feel a little spoiled by this machine, since citrus fruits are in season and readily available this time of year. Fresh juices have become an important part of my daily diet, and my kids love them as well. This item is worth every penny!

We recently purchased the juicer attachment for our Kitchenaid classic stand mixer. It attaches easily and is great for juicing any citrus fruit from small limes all the way up to huge pommelos. Easily strains out seeds and pulp with a screen that can also be removed to allow pulpto pass through if you want it. This attachment has greatly increased the family's vitamin C intake which can only help during flu season. It is quiet to operate and we use it nearly every morning. We initially had some squeaking, but a little oil on the stem that plugs into the mixer completely solved the problem. We own most of the attachments that Ktichenaid offers for this mixer and they really do work as they are advertised. I like having one unit that will perform many kitchen duties without the needfor storing multiple appliances. It is also a huge benefit to have attachments that do waht they are supposed to do!

i love making homemade juice when i have extra grapefruit and oranges hanging around... they go great by themselves or in smoothies. however, making juice with this manual juicer makes me want to pull my hair out!! it is so much work and it is not worth it. i actually went out and bought another juicer because i didn't want to take the time to use this one. it took me at least 15 min. to make one 8 oz. cup of juice. wow!! kitchenaid is typically great with their products, but this one needs some work. even the handle to hold it by is in an inopportune place which makes it frustrating. i would highly recommend any electric juicer over this one... they are worth a little bit of extra money and make life (and juice making) so much easier! if you want to avoid the headache of spending half your morning making juice, i would get your butt out there and splurge on an electric juicer to make your mornings easier and much more yummy!
